Kyle stood there petrified, he didn't know what he was going to say. All his hopes had been shattered in one word; he knew that there was no way that he was going to get her back.
The news station was already broadcasting and they had already broadcasted the breakup for everyone in the city to watch, everyone in Nixon College was watching.
"I knew it, their relationship was a forced one. How could the beauty queen of our college date someone that poor?"
"That guy is a simp, at least he has got what he asked for. Serves him right, I knew that there was no way Cherry would even want to be with him."
The entire school was clinging to their phones as they watched the broadcast, Kyle was not feeling like himself.
He kept looking at Mark with hate in his eyes, he didn't know what he was going to do.
"Oi buddy, she already made her choice
and she doesn't want to be with you. So, buzz off before I beat you down." Mark wanted to mock Kyle, Kyle was already holding back his anger.
Mark didn't want to leave him alone, he walked to Kyle. "Hey, I said scram before I do a number on your damn face." Mark began to poke Kyle on the chest, he wanted to make Kyle feel intimidated.
"Leave me alone." Kyle looked at Mark, it was clear that he was going to fight Mark. Mark didn't care and he wanted to make sure that he showed Kyle that he was above him in every way.
He pushed Kyle back into a pile of gifts he had kept for Cherry, Kyle looked at Mark with anger in his eyes.
Without a second thought he launched for Mark, a fierce fight broke out between the two. Mark tried to show Kyle that he was going to get the upper hand, but he was shocked to see that Kyle was way stronger.
Cherry had run out of the room to call security; Kyle was pounding Mark around. Kyle was strong enough to beat down Mark, he had built stamina over the years working three different jobs.
Kyle wasn't going to let Mark go, he wanted to show him that it was not going to be easy for him to win.
Cherry had come back with security, they pulled Kyle off Mark. Mark was all roughed up, he looked at Kyle and swung
one last punch at him. "I will make sure you find it hard to even show your face in public again." Mark spat on Kyle's face.
"Make sure he is locked up." Mark ordered as security was pulling Kyle out the scene, Cherry was attending to Mark's wounds as they watched Kyle get pulled away by the security.
Everything that had happened was being broadcasted live to everyone, everybody in the school saw what happened. Most of them said that Kyle deserved it and some said that Mark was the first to pick the fight and that he was a sore loser.
But the people that said that Mark was in the wrong couldn't say it out for the public to hear, they knew that it would be their end if they did so. "I can't believe that he would even think of trying to hurt Mark. Is he mad?"
"He's going to find it hard to even show his face in public ever again, I will even hang myself if it came to that."
The school didn't even care about Kyle's well-being, most people didn't even know that he existed. That was the harsh reality of things in the world.

Kyle was taken to the police station, the man there looked at him like he had some kind of disease. "Well, what do we have here? You assaulted Mr. Aaron's son. It says here that you have been charged with assault and violence, disruption of peace. Mr. Kyle Miller, Is your name right?"
"Yes sir"
"You have a lot of balls, kid. Not everyone would dare go close to the Aaron family and talk more about attacking them. Well now your bail is $2000, I wonder how you're going to pay that amount of money?" The officer looked at Kyle from up to down, he saw that Kyle was just another simple guy that could hardly afford to take care of himself.
"I don't really know how I am going to pay that amount." Kyle's voice was so low that the officer could hardly hear him. He knew that there was no way for him to pay up the bail fee.
"Well, that's too bad. You should have thought of that before you actually started throwing hands with some of that status. You're a freaking idiot, I wonder what you were thinking."
Kyle was escorted into a prison cell; he sat down in the corner and began to recollect how miserable his life was.
Not only was he poor but now he had lost his girlfriend to someone of higher status than him. He didn't know how he was going to be able to raise up his head in public after everything that happened that day.
"This sucks." Kyle cursed as he curled up in the corner, he was holding back his tears trying to make sure that he didn't cry.
Kyle always wanted to live like all the rich kids he saw at his
college, every moment he had that dream he would remember that he was placed at the bottom of the food chain.
He always wanted more in life but it was clear that he was not going to get anything but pain and suffering in his life. He sat down in the corner of the cell thinking of how unfortunate his life was.

Kyle had dozed off in the prison cell, the sound of the cell opening woke him up. He turned to see the officer that had locked him up opening the prison cell, Kyle looked at him all confused.
"What's going on?" Kyle asked all confused, he didn't know why the same officer that threw him into the cell releasing him.
"Well, this might be your lucky day. Someone just bailed you out." The officer said as he let Kyle go. Kyle walked out the cell to go collect
his belongings from the officer at the counter. Kyle looked around to see if he would see his friends standing there. But he didn't see anyone there, he was confused who would pay a $2000 bail for someone like him.
"Here's your phone and wallet, not that there was nothing of value there. Now buzz off wanker, you can go ahead and leave here." The officer dismissed Kyle. Kyle walked out of the station and stood there looking at his phone.
There were different texts from his friends and working place, he opened the text messages and saw that the owner of the place he worked had hired him. It turns out they had seen what happened on TV.
The calls were from his friends, they might have seen what happened on TV. "This is terrible, how am I going to pay for all the remaining handouts, how am I going to survive?" Kyle stood outside the station; he was devastated.
"My, you really do look like him." Kyle turned to see who was talking, a man in a black suit was standing in the corner. "Who are you?"
The man walked towards Kyle; he looked like a different class of wealth. Kyle didn't know who he was, the man stopped in front of Kyle. "I am really delighted to see you."
Kyle was still confused, "Really who are you? Am I in trouble"
"Of course not. I am happy to see you, Young Master." The man said bowing down.
