The room was bright, the walls made out if a totally white substance that couldn't be missed, his head strapped with a weird hat he had studied for a while now.
This was the disciplinary/questioning room of the school and Haxi who everyone thought to be Haki sat in front of two officials sitting across the table playing the good cop bad cop synergy.
Pretty classic but not intimidating enough.
The deal about this test was to check if they were not the guys that murdered vthe bullies. Yes this is a lie detection test with neurology and signals used so it would be impossible to lie.
Whereas that law is not applied to a genius like me.
"So did your brother attempt to kill the bullies?"
It was so direct and would have left a sense of emotion in the hearts of those that were unprepared and low minded. Haxi did not fall into this category staring firmly at the official and shaking his head.
"No they attacked him," simple and brief which was his normal way if replying teachers so he had no suspicion to pique in them.
"So your brother Haxi held a tray filled with Acid and then what happened, narrate the entire story to us."
Haxi without hesitation nodded before speaking, "he walked out the hall with a tray filled with acid and that was when the bullies came up to him with Ill intent, they attempted to place the liquid on his skin and in a violent struggle the tray toppled and the contents got on the two of them, not to forget my brothers palms were also stained by this."
He recalled Haki grabbing the bullies shirt which was covered by a little acid, fitting that to the story would give him more authentication so he went on, "angry by his looks getting injured an so on, the bulky grabbed my brother by the shirt and attempted bro throw him off, because of the pain he was feeling he slipped at the edge."
"He and my brother plummeted down the heights and at the second I tried to help but was too late to." Haxi raised his hands to show them a bit bruised from when they crashed into the tray in his hands.
"This was the minor injury I took from this accident, but my brother fell a great height and shattered his entire left arm, his pelvic girdle and petorial are in bad shape, his cranium recieved a hard blow to the mental side."
"I am not a biologist or whatsoever but any person knows it would be so agonizing to survive that...."
"Haki keep going, we have facilities that can heal past broken bones and mental health in a matter of hours," the good cop tried to condone but this left a vexed arch in Haxi's face.
"So are you suggesting we killed them and my brother leapt off eight floors to hide the truth because of that fact, is the how treacherous you think the twin bloodline to be?" The bloodline of a twin was told to be cursed rarebit hated, if not for their father's name, they would have been killed at the moment if birth.
"Just answer our questions about and complete the explanation and all would be fine," the bad cop was holding zero sympathy.
Damn, at this rate he would be found out. He couldn't find a way yet to hack a truth cap or whatever they called it, thinking if saying multiple lies would help but that was what they made it for...
There surely had to be a reason why his brother chose him to be the one to be questioned and not the jumper.
Think Haxi.
"The other bulky slipped off the stairs and fell to an imminent death, done."
The good cop nodded slightly to check, "ok."
Pump!
The cap on his head glowed red which meant he was speaking lies.
"Gulp! Seems I have been caught," Haxi admitted Jolting goosebumps into the skin of the two officials, they were already believing his lies like ants following sugar. As expected of theortal man.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Yes I lied, my brother killed those two by a mistake in calculation, the acid we got from the store was hydrofluoric acid instead of a weaker one, still my brother would never kill himself to murder a bully would he?" Haxi grinned widely.
This time they weren't too quick to believe waiting patiently to see the results which appeared not too long after.
Bing!
Green, he was speaking the truth.
'A well drafted truth, telling them all that transpired and that the same time missing out the main point but giving the brain enough to believe, I win.'
This was actually a point politicians and high people used to bypass this security, not to mention a glitch Haxi had discovered from viewing a few political campaign.
After ten seconds of a lie detected, it takes the truth hat at least fifteen seconds to recalibrate, under those seconds anything said would automatically be true.
So no matter how many ways the question came, he would forever outsmart the technology.
"If you excuse me, I am going to meet my brother, thank you for wasting my time and aspirations blockheads."
With that he left without awaiting an order from his superiors.
This was typically the Sky city's everyday life, the brilliant rule over the fools and to the twin brothers everyone was pretty much stupid.
A simple calculated accident have the masses a hard time thought, how pathetic.

Outside the academy and all the ruckus, Haki and Haxi stood on the ceiling of the roof enjoying the wonderful view from afar.
"The days remain the same but the people are different," Haki now having his glasses back, all to himself posed to look cool, "another accomplishment to the plan we started five years ago."
Haxi grinned in agreement, "now the genius nerds can start growing in Knowledge once again."
"Now our plan to create a society filled with mechanics, science and technology has begun."
Haki smiled and pointed to the open space, the view of the school ran so far that he could see the dark lands by narrowing his eyes. It was a large enough view for his rage to boil.
"And to succeed in this mission, i will crush the Dark lands with immediate effect."

Author's note
Two worlds different perspectives, this marks the beginning of this new novel for WPC and I hope we all like what we have seen so far.
The two geniuses and the stubborn delinquent fool that is aspiring way over his head. At Least he has a team to back this up.
