A teacher entered their class as the students quite down their talking.
"Good morning students". The teacher greeted.
"Good morning sir".
"Good,many of you won't know me I'll introduce myself,my name is Mr John and I'll be your history teacher". After saying this a girl named Mia raised her hand. "Yes young lady".
"Uhm sir this is a science class not art class". Mia said as the students wispered to eachother.
"I know,I just like sharing my knowledge to others". Mia then sat down as Mr John turned to the white board as he wrote his subject. "Now let's begin,who can tell me the current president of the USA". He asked his question as Oona raised her hand. "Yes you".
"President Joe Biden". She said a little slowly.
"Correct". Then the students clapped for her. "So who was the former president". He asked then Mia raised her hand as Mr John pointed her.
"Donald trump".
"A round of applause". He said as they clapped for her. "Now who can tell me what year the first world war started".
"Ugh this is why I hate history". Valarie grumbled as she put her hand on her jaw.
"Anyone". Mr John said,then a girl named Cady raised her hand then Mr John gave her a go ahead nod.
"The war started in 28 July 1914-11 November 1918". Cady answered.
"That's amazing". He said as they clapped for her but Valarie just rolled her eyes. "Okay, now what are things about the ocean".
"How is that even a question". Valarie Said in her mind, Oona and Korra both raised their hands as Mr John pointed Korra.
"The ocean can be described in an endless number of ways. It's refreshing, beautiful and humbling,it's vast, mysterious and terrifying. That's why it's beauty can be inspired in countless novels, songs, films and documentaries". Korra narrated with a lot of interesting fact.
"That's marvellous". As the class clapped for her brilliant words. "Who did you get all this kind of information".
"Well me and my family usually goes on vacation, I love the ocean so much I had to learn everything about it". Korra explained.
"And that's very wish my dear". He said as Korra smiled. "Okay who can tell me why are cats associated with Egypt". Mr John said as Korra raised her hand along with Cady and the boy. "Yes". He said pointing the boy.
"Egyptians believed cats were magical creatures, capable of bringing good luck to the people who houses it". The boy said.
"Exactly". He said as the class clapped, Cady was smiling sweetly at the boy, Korra turned to see who spoke about the cats, to her surprise it was the boy she bumped into earlier.
"What's he doing here?". She said to herself with total surprise.
"Okay class, you all did a great job, now my time is up see you again tomorrow or so". He said as he left the class.
"Finally it's over". She said with a sign as Oona started laughing.
"Oh Valarie". She said still laughing, then their biology teacher entered their class then their teaching began.
It was recess and the girls were already discussing about the history class they had earlier.
"Why will they give us a history teacher when we're in science class?". Valarie asked.
"I don't know, maybe they just want to share some knowledge". Oona said trying to thing of a better way to say it.
"What kind of knowledge,how will someone be asking us about war that happened ages ago,like as of I was there". She said in and angry tone as she drank her smoothie to cool herself down.
"You know history is almost like science as well, finding history, discovery and so much". Oona said
"Whatever ". She said rolling her eyes,while they were talking a boy walked up to them.
"You dropped this when we bumped into each other". The boy said as he gave her her note book.
"I....uhm..." Korra started stuttering,then she took in a big breath and out. "Thanks". She said with a smile as she took the book from his hand.
"Your welcome,I gotta go bye". He said as he waved at them.
"Bye". Valarie and Oona said together sounding all sweetly.
"Isn't he handsome". She said putting her hands on her cheeks while looking at him dreamingly as he walked to Cady.
"Ya he is,but annoyed me is that why is Cady his girlfriend". Valarie said with a frown.
"Wait,wait,why are you guys saying this?". Korra stopped them because she was getting confused. "And who is he by the way?".
"Only the hottest,coolest and famous guy in our class". Valarie said as she answered her question.
"Ya he is". Oona said as she looked at Korra. "He is so,so talented and dangerously cute". She said again as Valarie spoke.
"What was he doing with your note book anyway?". She asked "Or are you hiding something from us".
"I'm not hiding anything,that's the reason why I was late to class". She said as she tried to explain,but her friends looked at her mysteriously. "When I went back to get my book I bumped into him,I almost fell but he caught me.....".
"OMG". Oona creamed as she interrupted Korra.
"I can't believe it". Valarie said shaking her head. "Wait,wait,wait,how was it like?". She said smiling suspiciously.
"How was what?".
"You know,like looking at him in the eyes, filling the breeze on your face,a connec....".
"Gross,no,no,no, their was no connection,it was just an accident that's why he brought my book back,maybe it fell from my back". Korra explained as she stopped Valarie from saying any more nonsense.
"Lucas and Korra that would be out of this world". Oona said as she imagined them as a couple then Valarie started laughing.
"In your dreams". Korra said as the all laughed.
Their last class for today was already a rap,their teacher left their class just few minutes to closing hour,so everyone in class were discussing to each other as they waited for school to be over.
"Hey let's go to my house after school". Valarie said to her friends.
"Sure". Oona said.
"I'm not sure I can come". Korra said feeling a little uncomfortable.
"Why?". Oona asked.
"I...."
"No,you are coming wether you like it or not". Valarie said as Korra signed,this was her first,well not her actual first,going to a friend's house. Because in her formal school everyone saw her as a stranger,or a weirdo, Korra was packing her books into her bag when a girl with four people behind her stood in front of her.
"Uhm..... Hey can I help you with something". Korra said wondering what the problem was.
"Nothing from a bitch like you". The girl said shocking Korra and her friends.
"What did I do?". Korra asked trying to find if she has offended anyone.
"What business do you have with my boyfriend?". She asked angrily.
"Nothing,I have nothing to do with him". She said, Lucas was not in the class at that minute so that what gave her the power to start her trouble.
"She's lying". One of her friends or minions said. "I saw when Lucas handed a book to her". She said which increased her anger more.
"Ya, because my book fell and.....". Korra tried to explain herself but they didn't let her finish.
"Oh that's enough". She said stopping her words.
"Hey,don't talk to my friend like that". Oona said standing up angrily.
"And I was not talking to you". The mean girl said rudely.
"And she said you should stop,you know what get out". Valarie spoke as she pointed towards the door.
"How dare you raise your voice at me". The girl said in shock which later turned into an angry face.
"And I can do It again". Valarie said with a courageous face.
"Why am I even talking to you losers". She said as she faced Korra. "The next time I see you close to Lucas again your gonna be sorry ". She warned as shivers ran down Korra's spin,the mean girl turned to walk away as Korra's water bottle splashed on her uniform. "Ugh..... What did I ever do to you?". She said with a growling voice.
"It wasn't me I swear ". Korra tried to prove her innocence but the girl won't let her.
"Keep that sorry to yourself,this is not over". She said pointing at her with a warning, Valarie the walked to the door and opened it.
"Thanks for you time now get out". She said as the girl and her minions cat walk out of the class with Valarie closing the door.
