Risotto quietly wandered around the flat glancing out the window every now and then while sipping the tea he had just made.
The time of the meeting was approaching. At last he heard footsteps outside the door. The door opened. Melone and Giaccio entered the flat.
- Hi Risotto, long time no see. - Said Melone, 'I hear you've become a hunter. I didn't believe it at first, but then I hacked into the Hunter's Association database and I was convinced. Lucky people.
Giaccio entered the kitchen after Melone.
- Hey, Boss! Long time no see. I heard you got attacked by some arseholes. I wish I'd been there, I'd have ripped their bellies open and made them eat their own entrails!
- Calm down Giaccio, - said Risotto, - It's all right. Better sit down and have some tea. We have to wait for the others.
Pesci, Prosciutto and Formaggio entered the flat.
- Where's Illuso? - Risotto asked Formaggio.
- He had just finished his interrogation, he was now getting rid of the body.
Soon Illuso came and sat down at the table with the others.
- At last everyone is here, - Risotto began, - First of all I want to say that I am very happy to see you all again.
- It's good to see you too boss. - Said everyone with smiles on their faces.
- What's up with that guy? - Risotto turned to Illuso.
- He and his mates were mercenaries. Not exactly the first class. It looked like they'd only recently learnt Nen and had decided to go straight into mercenary work. No wonder you were able to finish one of them off.
- But who hired them? Why did they want my head?
- Ha, you'd be surprised. At first I thought he was joking or delusional, but then I realised he was telling the truth.
- Who is it?
- Genei Ryodan.
- What? That famous criminal organisation? But what would they want with a rookie hunter? - Risotto wondered.
- I don't know. The guy said that they were promised to pay a good amount of money and to consider taking them into the organisation.
- He didn't give any specific names?
- No, he doesn't even know what they look like, but he knows they're from Genei Ryodan.
- It's weird... Nothing much is clear yet.
- You know what's clear, Formaggio said suddenly, is that they're after you, our boss. And that means they should pay for it.
- I agree,' added Prosciutto, 'You can't forgive that. And they probably won't be afraid to attack again.
- I'll give them a place of honour in the museum of ice sculptures! - Threw Gyaccio.
- In any case, we must be ready for the next attack. They can either hire more mercenaries or they can come in on their own. - Said Melone.
Something like a slight smile appeared on Risotto's face, and then he said.
- It's hard to disagree with you. In that case, I have made a decision. From now on, I declare: La Squadra di Esecuzione is back again. Now there is no Passione. We no longer work for the Mafia. Now we are free men to be reckoned with. Viva La Squadra di Esecuzione!
- Viva La Squadra! Viva la vita nuova! - All the others shouted with glee.
Risotto thought for a moment, then turned to Melone.
- Melone, can you get me the phone number of a hunter? It should be in the Association's database.
- Easy! But why would you do that?
- He's an acquaintance of mine. We met during the Hunter's exam. He hates Genei Ryodan very much and could be useful.
- Are you really thinking of taking on a newcomer?
- I'd say he just might be our ally. Although I might take him on as an intern.
- Di Molto! Rookies are always fun! I'll get you his number.
- I'll come by after the meeting's over. Starting tomorrow, I'll start learning Nen, and you can help me with that, Prosciutto.
- No problem,' replied Prosciutto.
- After mastering Nen, I want to go to the Celestial Arena. There I will test myself and earn some money for us. This meeting is now adjourned, thank you all.
- See you tomorrow boss. - They all said and left the flat.
It was getting dark. Risotto went to Melone before going to bed and gave him a tip on who to look for, then went to his room to sleep.
Late morning. Risotto was standing in the middle of the room in his flat, with Prosciutto standing right in front of him.
- So, turn your back to me. I will direct my aura stream into your body, it might hurt a little. - Said Prosciutto and directed his aura into Risotto as he turned his back.
It hurt quite a bit. Risotto cringed quite a bit, but didn't scream.
- Damn it!!! You call that a little pain?!
- Believe me, it could have been much worse. Normal people in general often die from it.
- What's wrong with me? - I see a strange haze surrounding me.
- It's your aura. You need to learn to keep it inside you, otherwise you will get tired quickly, and then you will collapse.
Prosciutto went on to explain to Risotto how to hold the aura properly. Risotto had no problem with it the first time.
- One more important detail. Since we are stand users, Nen's strength is not fundamental to us. For us, it's sort of an add-on to our stands. When we master Nen, we get at least the ability to influence Nen users with our stands. So for example, you can now kill people from the inside again. Often the strength of the stands is increased by the Nen. For example, the strength or range of a stand's abilities can be increased. So my The Grateful Dead had a significant increase in the range of the ability and its power.
- It's just incredible. All that's left is more training and practice, and then there will be no equal for us.
- Good point. Also, sometimes new abilities can be unlocked based on the strength of your stand.
Risotto continued to practice holding the aura. It's quite difficult at first, but considering how well he's doing already, he'll get the hang of it quickly.
Soon Melone walked into the flat.
- Hey. I see you're practising, you're doing great. I got that hunter's number like you asked, here you go.
Melone handed Risotto a piece of paper with the number.
- You have good taste,' Melone said, 'Such a young and handsome boy, I thought it was a girl at first.
Risotto looked at him with a rather scary look.
- Okay, okay, I'm leaving. - Said Melone and left the flat.
Risotto continued to practice.
- He's doing well. - Prosciutto remarked.
- Thank you. I'm going to practice some more today and then head to the Celestial Arena tomorrow.
- Just like that?! Although considering how fast you're learning, it's not unreasonable. Plus, it's not a bad idea to practice fighting.
Towards evening, Risotto finished his training.
''For a start, I think it's a good result. Now we need to call him. Hopefully he'll agree to join us. I'm sure he'll be quite useful to us.'
Risotto picked up his phone and dialled Kurapiki's number.
