Chapter 17 - Chapter 17. Daredevil and Bullseye

"A superhero?" Lissandra asked, sounding puzzled.

"Yeah, I think it could be fun. When Iron Man first appeared, I was a huge fan of his. Becoming a superhero would be a dream come true for many young people," Noah replied.

He had regained his memories two months after Tony Stark became Iron Man. Back then, Noah admired Iron Man and thought he was incredibly cool. Now, he wanted to try being a superhero himself.

At that moment, an unknown object flew toward him from the darkness.

"What is that?" Noah wondered, catching it mid-air. Despite its speed, his enhanced vision and armor made it easy for him to intercept.

"A bullet? But it's cold," Noah noticed. The bullet felt unusually cold, almost as if it had been thrown by hand instead of shot from a gun.

Looking ahead, he saw two figures standing on the rooftop. It was Daredevil, aka Matt Murdock, and Bullseye. Daredevil was fending off Bullseye's attacks with his baton. Bullseye was a master of throwing weapons, able to turn any object into a lethal projectile with deadly precision.

In a previous encounter, Daredevil had walked into a trap set by Bullseye. Since then, he had been tracking him down, intent on taking down one of Kingpin's most dangerous henchmen. Tonight, he had finally found him and initiated the chase. However, Bullseye was far more dangerous than Daredevil had anticipated.

They came to a stop on a high-rise rooftop. Daredevil gripped his baton, preparing for another attack.

As Daredevil faced Bullseye, he suddenly realized something—he could see again. Ever since Noah had given him that vial of medicine, his eyes had begun to itch. At first, he hadn't thought much of it, but the next morning, he was woken by sunlight streaming into his room. He was shocked to realize his vision had been restored. Daredevil was incredibly grateful to Yasuo for the miracle.

However, regaining his sight required some adjustment. His superhuman senses had been altered, but Daredevil quickly adapted and became stronger than before.

Standing on the rooftop, Daredevil tightened his grip on his baton, focusing on his opponent.

"What's the matter? Tired of running? I'd suggest you throw away all your hidden weapons and give up," Daredevil smirked.

"Daredevil, you're like an annoying fly. Now that you've found me, tonight you die!" Bullseye snarled, hurling another projectile.

Daredevil deflected the thrown object with his baton and charged forward. Bullseye, enraged, intensified his attacks.

In close combat, Daredevil was in his element. His baton swung deftly, but Bullseye parried the strikes with knives he pulled from his belt. Bullseye attempted to stab him, but Daredevil dodged and delivered a powerful blow that disarmed him.

Daredevil's baton split into two, and he launched another assault, forcing Bullseye on the defensive. In close quarters, Bullseye was no match for Daredevil.

Daredevil blocked Bullseye's next strike and countered with a brutal elbow to the jaw, sending Bullseye stumbling backward. Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth.

"Spit,"

Bullseye sneered but refused to back down, rushing into the fray again.

Daredevil pressed his advantage, but during one of their exchanges, Bullseye suddenly spit out a tooth in Daredevil's direction. Daredevil saw the move coming, but the speed of the projectile was too fast to avoid entirely. Though he dodged, it still grazed his skin.

"Ha!" Bullseye grinned wickedly, seeing the blood. His plan had worked. He had saved the tooth, which had been knocked loose earlier, for this precise moment.

As Daredevil struggled with the pain, Bullseye resumed his assault, using anything he could get his hands on as a projectile. Murdock felt the pain from the impact—the tooth had cracked one of his ribs despite his armored suit. Without it, the injury would have been far worse.

Finding himself in a difficult situation, Daredevil was forced to defend against both close-range attacks and thrown weapons, weakening him further. Several injuries added to the toll his body was already taking.

After a few more rounds of attacks, Bullseye, confident in his advantage, gathered an arsenal of throwing weapons: steel needles, playing cards, bullets, and knives, hurling them all at Daredevil at full speed. He was certain this attack would finish him off. Daredevil braced himself, shielding his vital organs.

Suddenly, just before the barrage could hit, a powerful gust of wind blew from the side, sweeping all of Bullseye's weapons away and embedding them into the nearby wall, leaving long, deep scratches. Daredevil breathed a sigh of relief and looked in the direction of the wind. A figure was approaching from a distance, soon leaping onto the rooftop where Daredevil and Bullseye stood.

Bullseye, seeing the new arrival, recognized the technique but was taken aback by the sight of the advanced armor. This wasn't just any suit—it resembled the high-tech armor worn by Iron Man.

Both fighters braced themselves. Daredevil took a defensive stance, while Bullseye subtly hid a weapon behind his back, ready to strike.

"Hey, Daredevil. Long time no see," Noah said.

"Yasuo, it's you," Daredevil relaxed, recognizing the familiar voice. It was the same man who had saved his life that night and restored his sight.

Bullseye, realizing the odds were against him, threw a weapon at both of them and bolted for the fire escape. But before he could reach it, a wind blade sliced past him, cutting through the wall and tearing his clothes. Bullseye froze in terror, realizing the next strike could cleave him in two.

"Take one more step, and you'll be the next target," Noah's voice sounded from behind him.

"What do you want?" Bullseye asked, realizing his chances of escape were slim.

"What do I want? Hmm," Noah mused, checking the time with Lissandra. Then, with a smirk, he made a proposition.

"Let's play a game. If you win, I'll let you go. How about that?".
