"You've got a lot of nerve coming here, Marcus," Liam said, his voice dripping with mock amusement. He leaned casually against a crumbling wall of the abandoned mill, the moonlight casting long shadows across his sharp features. "What's the mighty Blackwood Beta doing sneaking around at this hour? Trouble in paradise?"
Marcus stood a few feet away, arms crossed tightly over his chest. His jaw was set, but his eyes betrayed a flicker of uncertainty.
