Chapter 183 - Chapter 183: Is He Really Human?

"Alright."

Upon receiving the instruction, JARVIS understood that Mr. Stark needed a battlefield.

Within twenty seconds, JARVIS completed all the necessary arrangements, forcibly acquiring the rights to a nearby micro-island spanning just over ten square kilometers for a sum of over two billion dollars.

With Earth's current technology unable to venture into space, land was incredibly valuable and scarce. Once humanity entered the interstellar age and could seek out other habitable planets, the value of land would plummet.

However, this island itself wasn't particularly expensive; JARVIS had requisitioned it in the name of the U.S. military and made the payment.

"It's been purchased," JARVIS confirmed.

As soon as JARVIS communicated the success of the purchase, Tony dove into the sea and landed a powerful kick on the back of the struggling Hulk.

The sheer force from Tony's rapid descent propelled the Hulk from the depths of the ocean, launching him dozens of feet into the air.

Tony then shot a beam of energy, sending the Hulk hurtling toward the small island he had just acquired.

Faced with Tony—a formidable opponent equipped with advanced technology—Hulk had no chance to counterattack mid-air. He could only unleash an enraged roar, wishing he could tear that armored figure apart.

In mere moments, a barrage of lasers struck the Hulk, sending him crashing into a pile of rocks on the island.

The impact created a massive crater, sending debris flying and clouds of dust into the air.

As Hulk felt the solid ground beneath him, a grin spread across his face. With a powerful leap, he sprang out of the crater, landing with a thud.

"Green Giant Hulk, your host seems to think your strength is invincible," Tony remarked, now standing on the island as he observed the elated Hulk. "Let's see just how strong you are."

However, under the current circumstances, without resorting to his Void Mode or utilizing the power of the Void, the damage Tony dealt to Hulk amounted to only minor injuries—ones that would heal quickly. Hulk's defensive abilities were impressive.

This indicated that conventional technology could not threaten the Hulk. Tony was aware that he had yet to employ his secret weapon, the Vibranium armor, which would change the dynamics entirely.

Hulk couldn't comprehend Tony's words, but he understood he wanted to rip apart this incessantly attacking figure.

He charged forward, his massive form resembling a moving tank, shaking the ground beneath him.

Tony faced Hulk's ferocious charge without fear, effortlessly sidestepping Hulk's punch. The shockwave from the punch ruffled his armor but wasn't enough to breach it.

Seeing his punch miss, Hulk became angrier, unleashing a flurry of wild punches. But no matter how hard he swung, he couldn't land a hit on the armored man.

"Currently, Hulk's defense is remarkably strong, approaching a divine level, and his recovery ability is basic. He can fully recover only because he's sustained minor injuries," Tony assessed while dodging. "He has tremendous strength, but he's not invincible, and his attack speed is too slow to be effective."

"The battle is unfolding in a combined environment of land, sea, and air; only the land aspect can be utilized effectively. Despite some weaknesses, Hulk's strong defense may compensate for them."

As Tony dodged, he contemplated his opponent's strengths and weaknesses.

Having evolved over two hundred times, Tony felt formidable even without his armor. He was confident he could toy with Hulk even without it, as the green giant appeared to be a brute with immense power but little intelligence.

Without any rational thought, Hulk relied purely on instinct and strength to fight.

However, Banner, possessing the power of the Hulk, was someone many looked up to. If he could learn to control that power and refine his combat skills, he would undoubtedly become a true powerhouse.

As Tony spoke, he dodged another one of Hulk's swings, which smashed into the ground, creating another crater.

Despite the terrain being affected, Tony remained unperturbed.

He had been with the Void for several years and, following Harvey's advice had been intentionally learning how to control his power.

With a swift sidekick, Tony struck Hulk's back.

The sound of metal cracking echoed as parts of the armor shattered and fell away.

But Hulk was propelled forward by the powerful kick, crashing into a hillside, which crumbled with a thunderous roar.

"Was that all his strength?"

"Is he human?"

Loki and Thor had been observing the fight, and Loki couldn't help but be taken aback by Tony's kick.

"By identity, yes," Thor replied. "But based on strength, I find it hard to say. Oh, and I forgot to mention—he can lift Mjölnir."

"He can lift Mjölnir?" Loki's eyes widened. "Then why did he give it back to you? Shouldn't a normal person keep it for themselves?"

Loki was hearing this for the first time and was perplexed. Anyone who could lift Mjölnir would gain Thor's power and experience a dramatic increase in strength.

It surprised him that someone who could lift Mjölnir would return it to Thor.

"You ask me, I ask who?" Thor shrugged. "While I don't fully understand Tony's ideals or mindset, the fact that he can wield Mjölnir suggests he possesses a heart for justice. Everything he does is for Earth."

Thor shook his head, pondering why Tony had given Mjölnir back to him. But watching Tony test Hulk's strength, he couldn't help but feel a bit of admiration.
