Tony extended his palm, and the arc reactor in his chest began to spin rapidly, gathering energy that turned the surrounding environment into a vibrant purple hue.
Enhanced by the Void energy, shockwaves began to ripple across the beach even before they were released.
As time passed, the energy surged terrifyingly; the sand began to melt even before the attack hit.
Then, just ten seconds later, Tony unleashed a massive purple beam of light, a hundred meters wide.
As it passed, the sea below split open, creating a terrifying fissure a hundred meters wide.
In an instant, the beam traveled hundreds of meters and crashed directly into the Destroyer, causing its armor to show signs of melting as it was thrown back.
With a thunderous explosion, a massive mushroom cloud erupted over the ocean, and the shockwave sent colossal waves crashing against the shore, shaking the very ground.
Thor, his hair blown back, stared in awe at the power of the attack, feeling the fierce wind that threatened to lift him off his feet.
As the waves and shockwaves subsided, the sea rushed back into the enormous fissure, swirling violently.
"JARVIS, what's the status?" Tony asked directly.
"The target is beginning to move," JARVIS replied.
"What the hell is this? That didn't destroy it?" Tony said, a hint of disbelief creeping into his voice.
That blast had gathered eighty percent of his Void energy. If that hadn't taken down the Destroyer, then all he had left was a remaining twenty percent of Void energy to maintain a Void Mode that would last only five minutes, trying to suppress the Destroyer while providing backup for Thor.
Even Harvey, who was far away in New York, observing quietly and ready to assist at a moment's notice, was astonished by the magnitude of Tony's attack.
Tony still had a lot to learn about harnessing Void energy. However, utilizing his armor as a makeshift cannon allowed him to deliver that astonishing blow.
Although it hadn't defeated the Destroyer, it could serve as a strong card to play.
"The Destroyer is made from uru metal; there's no one who can destroy it," Thor said.
"So don't lose hope," he added, trying to reassure Tony.
"Damn it, you're still in the mood to comfort me?" Tony replied, exasperated. "Think of a way to deal with it!"
Seeing Thor trying to console him made Tony roll his eyes. His gauntlet was damaged from the attack, but he brushed it off and instructed JARVIS to send him another one.
"My full power shot barely made it distort a bit; it didn't destroy it!" Tony exclaimed.
"Once the Destroyer is unleashed, it cannot be repelled unless the summoner recalls it," Thor admitted, feeling somewhat guilty.
"Then tell someone to recall it!" Tony shouted, realizing they were in a dire situation.
"It's not completely hopeless… Loki sent the Destroyer to kill me, not to destroy Earth," Thor said, a flicker of uncertainty crossing his face.
"As long as I'm dead, the Destroyer will return," he concluded.
Thor's expression shifted as he hesitated, but ultimately made up his mind.
"While we can't resolve this, we shouldn't sacrifice you just to send the Destroyer back."
Hearing Thor's willingness to die to send the Destroyer away made Tony rush to counter, "I don't want to die either, but besides this, we have no other options."
"Your full power attack is strong, but it didn't breach its defenses."
"If it comes ashore and we continue to fight, we'll be in danger."
Thor's face revealed his internal struggle.
"We can't solve this, but someone definitely can drive it back," Tony urged.
"Someone can solve this?" Thor asked, intrigued. "You mean that entity?"
"Yeah."
"Harvey, I know you're watching! Hurry up and save us!" Tony called out desperately. "We really can't handle this Destroyer!"
Thor blinked in recognition as he heard the name Harvey Amberlock. Having spent time in America, he had learned about some famous figures in New York through Darsy and Jane, including the notorious young millionaire, Harvey Amberlock.
Despite rumors that he was just wealthy and notorious for his escapades, Thor was surprised to learn he was the one Tony referred to as that entity.
As Tony called out for help, a swirling black void appeared in front of him and Thor.
"I knew you were watching," Tony said, a relieved smile spreading across his face upon seeing the void.
With Harvey here, he felt assured that nothing was insurmountable.
Thor, watching a young and handsome man with black hair emerge from the black void, was taken aback.
He truly had been observing, yet Thor hadn't sensed anything unusual until now. Just how powerful was Harvey?
"Tony, you can keep the hammer; that's just Asgard business," Harvey said, stepping out of the void, and looking at Tony, who was now visibly relaxed, a hint of exasperation in his voice.
"Please, we need your help," Tony pleaded, clasping his hands together in a prayer-like gesture.
The Destroyer, which had just lifted off from the sea, sensed an unprecedented threat upon Harvey's arrival.
It fully awakened, floating in mid-air as its metallic body began to shift and reshape.
A dazzling golden light illuminated the area as the Destroyer fired a golden beam toward Harvey, Thor, and Tony.
"Watch out!" Thor shouted, noticing the Destroyer going into full assault mode, quickly dodging to the side.
However, he realized Tony seemed frozen in place, unaware of the incoming attack.
What happened next was utterly astonishing. Harvey simply turned his body slightly and raised a hand.
When the Destroyer's devastating golden beam struck Harvey's hand, it was enveloped by a surge of purple energy.
This terrifying energy coalesced into a purple sphere that was swiftly drawn into the black void, and sent away into the cosmos.
Thor stared in disbelief; the Destroyer's full-power attack had just been blocked so effortlessly!
"I hadn't even decided if I wanted to help yet; why the rush?" Harvey remarked, his gaze becoming indifferent as he faced the fully activated Destroyer.
