Chapter 113 - Chapter 113: Is Sneaking Around Not Allowed?

"Reno, Kael, and the Seer, huh?"

"I'll remember that."

"How long have you been with the Void Sect?"

This didn't intimidate Tony; in fact, it made him a bit happy because they were somewhat like him.

He didn't need to worry about being judged or morally constrained for displaying too much power.

"Counting today, we've all been members for just twenty-three days."

Reno, seeing Tony as a newcomer to the Void Sect, guessed that Tony had probably joined well before them.

"Have you only been here for less than a month?"

"I've been a member for about nine months."

"But my physical abilities still don't match yours. Being a super-powered being is impressive," Tony said, feeling somewhat nostalgic.

He had anticipated that Harvey wouldn't only offer opportunities for ordinary people to join the Void but would also include some newly joined individuals with extraordinary strength.

He wasn't yet sure about the Seer's abilities, so he couldn't comment.

However, the strength displayed by Reno and Kael was monstrous enough to handle thousands on their own.

"Ah, so you're an old-timer. But it seems like your combat experience is a bit lacking."

"Also, while your armor allows you to fly, unless it's extremely durable, staying airborne in battle might not be ideal. It could suddenly cost you your life."

Reno spoke with a hint of respect but also with some caution, having noticed Tony's lack of battle experience. Reno, Kael, and the Seer had fought many battles, and they could tell Tony's combat experience was insufficient.

"Yeah, I haven't fought much in the past," Tony admitted.

Although he had battled terrorists on Earth, the disparity in power made those encounters one-sided beatdowns rather than real combat experience.

"Senior Tony, with your time in the Sect, do you have any evolution tips you could share with us?"

Seeing Tony's calm demeanor, Reno relaxed and casually asked.

"Evolution tips? There are two main directions: one is through consumption, and the other is adapting to harsh environments," Tony explained.

"Adapting to harsh environments is quite tough, so I chose to evolve by consuming large amounts of food."

"However, from my research, it seems that evolution tends to follow the direction you most desire. If you feel your physical strength is lacking, your next evolution is likely to enhance your physical power, though the improvement won't be very dramatic."

"Initially, evolution occurs rapidly, but as you evolve more, the speed decreases."

"But don't worry, we all have long lifespans."

Tony didn't hold back his knowledge and was eager to share his evolution experiences with fellow members.

"I see now why my speed has increased while my strength hasn't improved much."

"What kind of environment qualifies as harsh for evolution?"

"Can any evolutionary direction be pursued?"

Compared to Tony, Reno, Kael, and the Seer were novices in the Void Sect, eager to learn more about evolution from an experienced member.

Tony enjoyed the teaching moment and answered their questions.

After several hours of discussion, it turned out Tony had just arrived in the cosmos and didn't have any money. So, the group decided to treat him.

Tony initially wanted to cover the cost himself as a senior, but since they weren't on Earth, he couldn't.

However, despite being short on money, Tony promised to treat them to a big meal in a month.

A month should be enough for him to adapt to the cosmos, and even if he didn't earn money, he figured it was reasonable to use public funds for food and drink.

In just a few hours, Tony had met most of the members of the Void Sect on the island, even without leveraging Harvey's name to get closer.

He enjoyed the experience of talking without hiding his identity.

After the meal, Tony said his goodbyes and left. Although he still flew, he didn't go as high this time and settled into a villa.

Less than half an hour after Tony moved in, Sonia arrived.

"Mr. Stark, Mr. Kassadin has requested that we arrange a secretary for your daily needs and to handle some minor tasks."

"I've prepared a list for your review."

Sonia projected a list.

The projection showed the candidates' ages and their work experience.

"I approve of their abilities… but I have one question. Aren't there any more attractive options?"

"Perhaps someone who resembles you, or at least someone like Lacey?"

Tony, sitting on a sofa, examined the list of secretaries. He found that all had ample work experience, most of them having worked since their teenage years, so their abilities were unquestionable.

However, none of the women on the list stood out as exceptionally beautiful.

"Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Stark."

"However, Mr. Kassadin has specified that to ensure harmony with your wife, the secretary should not be too attractive."

"Please understand, Mr. Stark."

Sonia smiled at Tony's praise, her expression unchanged.

"…?"

Tony was about to argue but found himself at a loss.

"Mr. Kassadin anticipated your reaction."

"So, if Mr. Stark prefers a more attractive secretary, I can arrange that."

"However, you'd need to convince your wife."

Seeing Tony's hesitant expression, Sonia smiled and said.

Selecting a beautiful secretary was not difficult; in fact, finding those slightly less attractive was more challenging.

"Can't I just be discreet?"

"As long as my wife doesn't find out, isn't that fine?"

Tony, realizing he couldn't convince Pepper, still wanted a more attractive option, so he whispered.

"Please don't make things difficult for me."

"This decision is Mr. Kassadin's. If I don't handle it properly, I could face his displeasure."

Sonia's face showed a hint of distress as she politely replied.

"Alright then, I'll go with this one."

Seeing Sonia's predicament, Tony felt he couldn't justify any leniency for Sonia if Harvey became upset, so he accepted the situation.

After carefully reviewing the options, Tony chose the most pleasing and well-endowed secretary from the list.
