My eyes widened in shock and I jumped from the sudden loud sound that reached my ears and reverberated in the office lobby. A loud gasp erupted from the crowd as they turned around to look while I froze in my spot for a moment, not daring to turn my head around.
It felt like an eternity before I finally whipped my head around to see a huge crowd already forming right outside the office building doors as whispers and murmurs filled the air. I had this bad feeling that was looming above me and curiosity burned in my dark brown eyes.
