Seeing me standing in front of him, Blake's lips curled upwards into a smile as well as we locked eyes. "Hey, Aurelia, hey, Xavier, glad to see you here," he greeted. "Thanks for coming down to the studio," he added, smugness radiating from every inch of his skin.
I could see the way Xavier's posture stiffened and he clenched his jaw slightly as the two men locked eyes for a brief moment.
"Yeah, of course. Xavier and I would love to see you film your first set, you have come a long way," I said nonchalantly with a smile lingering on my lips as I kept my hand on Xavier who only nodded with a slight smile. "You are doing great." For a brief moment, surprise crossed his face, as if he was shocked to hear my soft and gentle tone for once.
I could tell that my words still had some kind of effect on him. Hearing the compliments come out of my mouth, he couldn't hold back the smile that appeared on his lips.
"Oh, well, thanks."
