Chapter 77 - Chapter 77: This is not over!

Those were the few words he had never expected to hear coming out from Sam's mouth.

I watched as Blake's eyes grew wider than the size of a saucer as he parted his lips in surprise and disbelief. I knew that his heart must have sank the moment he heard those words leave Sam's lips. He stumbled back a couple of steps as he kept his eyes fixated on Sam.

"What?" The word finally left his lips as he struggled to register the situation that was unfolding right before his eyes. "Are you serious? You can't fire me!" He protested, his voice shook with anger as rage coursed through his body at that moment.

"I can and I just did," Sam retorted, his tone filled with certainty as he glared at Blake with disdain and a disapproving look masked his sharp features. He reached down into his pocket and made a quick call on his phone. "Get the guards over to my room right this instant," he demanded.

"No!" Blake yelled out loud this time as his cheeks began to turn red with anger that was already burning inside of him. "You can't do this to me, Mr Cole! I didn't do anything wrong!" He proclaimed, desperation seeping through his voice as he pleaded while I relished in my own satisfaction, despite my plan not going in the way I wanted. But this was still a sight to behold.

"You acted unruly on set and you even assaulted someone," Sam pointed out blatantly without hesitation, a cold expression plastered across his face as he laid out the facts. "You couldn't deny that, could you? I won't tolerate having someone like this on my set."

"I… I…" Blake stammered, struggling to find the words to say as he was rendered speechless at that moment. He then turned to fix his attention on me this time, his eyes narrowing as he glared at me with contempt swirling in the depths of his eyes. "This is all your fault, Aurelia! You did this to me!"

A cold chuckle emerged from my throat as I looked up to meet his eyes. "How is it my fault? You were the one who came in here shouting at me and you even assaulted me when I did nothing wrong at all."

"Did you offer him sex? Did you sleep with him?" He accused brazenly. "Why is he siding you and helping you?!"

Sam's eyes grew wide with anger. "What did you just say? Are you crazy?"

I interjected this time as I maintained my calm demeanour. "He isn't siding with me or anyone at all Blake. It is a fact that you tried to choke me and physically assaulted me."

"You –" The words barely left the tip of his tongue when the two guards came rushing over to grab Blake by his arms, pulling him away. "Let go of me! Let go of me!" He demanded through gritted teeth as he shouted repeatedly while he pushed and struggled to break free from their tight grips.

"Let him grab his things from the back and bring him out," Sam commanded and the guards nodded silently as they continued to drag Blake who continued to flail his arms and legs around.

"This is not over yet, Aurelia!"

"I heard there was a commotion earlier, did something happen?" Xavier asked as soon as we met. His voice was laced with a hint of worry and concern and his eyes scanned my features in a hurry as if he was checking to see if I was hurt or anything.

I looked down, averting my eyes. "It was Blake…" I admitted in a soft voice. "He saw me talking to Sam and he accused me of trying to ruin his career and reputation. And then he…" I paused as my voice trailed off.

His fists were clenched tightly by his side, as he gritted his teeth. "What did he do, Aurelia?"

"He got angry and he tried to choke me," I finally said and I watched as his face darkened visibly and his features hardened.

"He choked you?" He asked, anger evident in his tone, eliciting some people around us to turn and stare. "Where is he? I'm going to go find him."

"He was taken away by the guards. And he was fired immediately."

A low chuckle left his lips as a satisfied smile was now etched onto his lips. "Good, that's what he deserves," he sneered with a disdainful scorn.

There was a brief moment of pause before my words broke the silence that settled among us.

"It is, but that's too easy for him," I began as a smirk tugged at the corners of my lips and my dark eyes gleamed with a knowing look. "I want him to become successful. And once he gets a taste of that sweet success and what he thought was the peak of his life, I will make sure that his world comes crashing down in seconds. Everything that he had worked so hard for will be for nothing in the end and he will lose it all. His fame, his reputation, his money and his lover."

I continued. "I can't destroy anything when he has nothing much to begin with, right?"

We have just left the set after saying bye to Sarah and thanking her for the opportunity. As soon as we stepped out, from the corner of my eye, I spotted a familiar figure a small distance away from where we were standing.

I turned to see that Blake was still lingering at the back of the studio, he was plopped down on the ground, his shoulders slouching as he slumped forward with his arms resting on top of his knees. He looked absolutely ragged and defeated. Beside him was a bag of things that was thrown onto the ground. He must have somehow heard us walking away as he looked up and we locked eyes from a distance.

I watched as his features contorted into an angry expression in a split second and he stood up.

"You!"
