Third Person POV
There was a short pause as silence stretched between the two and the air continued to crackle with tension.
The gears in his head were shifting as he thought of a plausible reason. She was right, why exactly did he do that? Why did he kiss her? Was it to spite Aurelia? Or was it something else… that he was starting to actually fall for Stella? He didn't know. He simply shook his head.
"It doesn't matter," he simply said, dismissing her. "Just don't show up at my workplace again."
His words were like daggers, piercing right through her chest and into her heart. It was like a switch flipped in her.
"Fine," she muttered. "Then you don't deserve to eat the food I prepared." Before he knew it, he watched as she took the plates of food and chucked them into the bin impulsively.
"Are you crazy?!"
She cackled like a mad woman as she met his gaze.
"I'm done… I'm out of here. Have fun eating nothing."
