Chapter 6 - Mission Accomplished

Nathan

I've got to say Valerie Norwells was a very intriguing woman. I was impressed by the way she tried to stand up to me, but only a few people could do it and not get killed for it.

"Okay then, wrap this up." I told my men as I made to leave the apartment. I had accomplished what I wanted, and it was time to move on to other things.

"What about me? What happens to me?" Valerie looked affronted by the way I dismissed her.

"You get to follow them." I pointed to Sammy.

"Follow them where? You must be delusional and crazy if you think I will follow you anywhere." Her chest moved up and down and what an impressive chest it was.

"Point of correction not me, them you are following them." I pointed out.

"Boss should she ride rear end or backseat?" Sammy asked with a tilt to his lips, I knew he wasn't too thrilled about becoming this girl's babysitter.

"Depends on her compliance and how well she behaves." I smirked when her eyes widened when she finally caught up to the trail of our conversation.

"Okay boss, it's all good." I nodded at Sammy taking my leave. Sammy knew what to do after taking our prisoner to my place. She would have to be under lock and key to prevent any sob story about her escaping.

I walked out of the building with one of my men following behind me, barely holding back my revulsion. I wondered how she was able to reside in such a shit hole. On my way out, I saw a big rat running along the stairs. Just the memory of it made me shudder. I could only imagine what other creatures this building was infested with.

"Where to sir?" My driver asked me as I glided on to the smooth leather back seat and Collins rode shotgun.

"To the docks, I have some unfinished business there." Hector nodded at me through the rearview mirror before putting the car on drive.

The drive to the dock wasn't smooth at all, the traffic was a barrier. Everything almost went sideways when a completely stupid and annoying man dressed in a suit almost crashed our car. He was extremely abusive and totally unapologetic about the incident, choosing to blame Hector for his recklessness. I watched all this from inside my car since both cars were parked at the side of the road.

"Fuck off, look how you scratched my car." He yelled.

"I didn't scratch your car, you rammed into us from behind." Hector said calmly, meanwhile I was sure he was losing his cool.

"I don't give a damn, you are paying for damages, or I will call the police." Was this guy serious? He smirked at Hector, pretty pleased with himself with the crap he just spewed out of his mouth.

"I ain't paying you shit." Hector retorted letting his annoyance, before walking back to the car. But his descent was stopped by the restriction of Suit guy hand on his arm. It all happened in slow motion as Suit guy punched Hector, striking him on his chin. It was definitely time to put a stop to this, even though it had been amusing.

"Boss, should I handle this?" Collins asked, looking at me.

"There's no need for that, I'll do it myself." Not that Hector wasn't strong enough to defend himself, all the men working for me were extremely trained. I just didn't want this to draw attention to us.

Coming out of the car, I took long strides to get to where the scene was happening. The sound of the front door banging alerted me to the Collins tailing behind me.

"You wuss, you must pay for damages." Suit guy grunted before throwing another sluggish blow which Hector dodged easily. Hector was about to retaliate when he saw me give a signal not to. He dropped his hand which was halfway in the air.

"Go on." I ordered Hector to get in the car. Suit guy turned when he heard a new voice and his eyes widened as he took in me and Collins. We were a damn duo, both big and tall, but Collins was much bigger than me. He was heavily muscled and was a retired sniper SEAL who was dropped because of an injury to his right arm.

"What the heck is going on?" Suit guy asked, stretching his arms out. Great question! He should definitely ask the universe that.

"I should be asking you that." I kept my left hand fisted hard in my trouser's pocket.

"That dolt over there scratched my car." He pointed at Hector who was resting his body against the car.

"I saw that, but you, my friend rammed my car." I replied silkily.

"So you own the car? Ah! bunch of assholes who doesn't know how to drive." He sneered looking at me. Up close, his eyes were glassy and his breath stank of alcohol. The idiot was drunk, that was why he had the audacity to behave this way. Probably even high on some shit with the way his pupils were dilated. I signaled Collins to cover up and hide us from watching eyes. Though the night helped conceal us a little, but the street lights and the moving cars exposed us.

Yanking him with his tie, I brought him closer to me,

"Let me go, you motherfucker." He yelled with his spit flying out from his mouth. I took out the gun I always kept tucked at the back of my belt and pressed the cold hard metal against his unprotected side.

"You know one thing I don't tolerate?" He nodded jerkily, shaking like a damn leaf. His pupils were now very dilated with fear.

"Cat got your tongue now? Answer me when I am talking to you", I asked him as I pressed the gun harder against his side.

"Ye..yes no.. No sir." He stammered. Good at least he knew he fucked with the wrong guy.

"Disrespect.* I spat out digging the gun further, making him wince.

"I'm..sorry sir." I removed the gun from his side before swiping it in his face with force.

"Fuck! my nose." He screamed like a little girl falling on the ground. His nose was bleeding profusely, I was sure that it was broken.

"I hope this remains a secret between us." I crouched down, looking at him. He only whimpered a little yes. Satisfied with my work, I drifted past with Collins following me. Hector was already ready to drive.

"Did you get his plate number?" I asked Collins as I cracked my fingers.

"Yes sir." My men were that good, very observant of their surroundings.

"Tell Phil to read the plate number, I want to know everything about that motherfucker." I had a reputation to uphold, I crushed any opposition without mercy. That puta was going to regret ever messing with me.
