Chapter 46: Anyone with a discerning eye can tell!

"Go to hell, you arrogant brat."

As Nagumo's powerful fist barreled toward his face, Rin Matsuoka's expression remained calm. A faint sneer appeared as he quickly raised his right hand, intercepting Nagumo's punch.

With a swift snap, Rin's palm caught Nagumo's fist.

A mix of shock and fury filled Nagumo's face. He hadn't expected his punch to be stopped so easily. Trying to pull back, he quickly realized it was futile as Rin twisted his hand sharply.

The searing pain in his wrist caused Nagumo's expression to contort in agony.

"Ah!"

Rin didn't stop there. With a cold look, he yanked hard, causing Nagumo to stumble forward.

Rin then brought his left arm across his chest, and in one smooth motion, his elbow shot out, slamming into Nagumo's wide-open chest.

Nagumo gasped. The impact sent waves of pain through his body, and his vision blurred momentarily from the force of the blow.

But Rin wasn't finished. As Nan Yunya staggered back, barely able to maintain his footing, Rin released his grip, spun, and delivered a sharp, whipping kick with his right leg.

A sharp sound cut through the air as Rin's foot connected directly with Nagumo's waist.

Thud!

Nagumo's body crumpled from the impact. He hit the ground hard, writhing in pain, his hands instinctively moving to clutch his waist. He curled up on the floor, groaning in agony, much like an insect caught in the fire.

In just a few seconds, Rin had taken down Nagumo with brutal efficiency.

Meanwhile, Daiki and Isamu were frozen in place, still processing what had just happened.

Daiki had been raising his fist, preparing to join the fight and help Nagumo, but now he stood there in shock.

This freshman had taken down Nagumo so fast?

Now what? Should he still go for it?

Daiki hesitated, quickly weighing his options. Judging by what he had just witnessed, he would likely meet the same fate if he rushed in.

Isamu, equally frightened, leaned closer and whispered to Daiki, "What do we do now? Should we leave?"

"No, we'll wait for Mizowaki and the others to get back. Then we can leave together."

"Good idea."

Rin's gaze briefly flickered toward Daiki and Isamu, but they remained rooted in place, too afraid to make a move. With a smirk, Rin slowly walked over to Nagumo, who was still curled up on the ground.

Crouching down in front of him, Rin chuckled softly. "Well, look who we have here—our mighty vice president of the student council, lying on the ground already? What happened to all that tough talk about breaking my arm and messing up my face?"

Nagumo, who had finally managed to catch his breath, was seething with rage. Rin's mocking tone and disdainful words made his blood boil. With venom in his eyes, Nagumo clenched his fists and tried to throw another punch at Rin's face.

But Rin was quicker. He raised his hand, easily catching Nagumo's arm in mid-swing. A cold glint flashed in Rin's eyes as he tightened his grip on Nagumo's forearm.

"Let's see if you still think you're in control now," Rin muttered, his voice icy.

Can you break someone's forearm with just grip strength alone?

The answer is—yes.

An adult, with all their strength, can easily break a child's forearm, causing a fracture.

Rin Matsuoka's physical fitness was far from ordinary, thanks to the personal quality enhancement points he earned from the narration system tasks. Half of these points (randomly enhanced) had been allocated to his strength.

Because of this, Rin Matsuoka's grip was exceptionally powerful, and Nagumo's forearm in his hand felt as delicate as a child's.

"Ahhhh! Let go, you bastard!" Nagumo screamed, his face turning red from the intense pain in his arm, followed by the faint sound of cracking bones.

The bone was broken.

Rin Matsuoka's grin widened, while Nagumo's face flushed even more, cold sweat pouring down his forehead due to the excruciating pain.

"My hand... my hand is going to break! I was wrong! Please, let me go!"

Nagumo, enduring the searing pain, began to plead for mercy.

Just moments before, he had been brimming with arrogance, brash and unruly. But now, after attacking Rin Matsuoka, he was on his knees, begging.

"What a spineless coward," Rin Matsuoka sneered, releasing Nagumo's arm and standing up.

Nagumo's flushed face darkened. He wanted to keep up his tough facade, but the unbearable pain in his arm and the sound of his bone cracking made it impossible.

At that moment, Denai and the others, who had earlier chased off Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, returned. Upon seeing Nagumo in such a pitiful state, they rushed over, filled with shock and anger.

"Freshman, don't even think about running if you've got any guts!" one of them shouted.

Rin Matsuoka glanced at the group rushing towards him. Instead of being intimidated, he smiled with amusement. Nagumo alone had barely served as a warm-up for him.

Now, with so many people surrounding him, Rin Matsuoka could move freely and confidently.

When Nagumo saw all his men rushing over, his frustration and resentment quickly shifted to ecstasy and arrogance.

Oh, you're good at fighting, aren't you?

What good will that do?

You'll soon be beaten half to death by the crowd!

At that moment, a mature and attractive figure appeared from around the corner.

Chabashira Sae, stepping out from the other side of the street, immediately noticed the strange sight of a group of students charging toward Rin Matsuoka, and she instinctively shouted:

"What do you think you're doing!?"

The second-year students, like Mizowaki, knew Chabashira Sae, who taught them the history.

So, when she appeared, Mizowaki and the others froze in place, not daring to continue.

Chabashira Sae let out a sigh of relief when they stopped and approached Rin Matsuoka, her expression cold.

She spoke sharply, "I believe you're sophomores, correct? Then you should be well aware of how this school deals with students who bully others."

"…"

Denai and the others exchanged nervous glances, feeling a sense of unease.

They knew full well that the school had a strict no-tolerance policy toward bullying, and several students had been forced to drop out for it.

Nagumo, clutching his injured arm, staggered to his feet, his body caked in mud and his face pale from the pain. He looked at Rin Matsuoka with resentment before turning to Chabashira Sae.

"Chabashira-sensei, look at me, and then look at him! It's obvious who's been bullying whom!"

"..." Chabashira Sae remained silent. Rin Matsuoka stood spotless, while Nagumo was filthy and disheveled. It was clear to anyone that Rin had been the one to teach Nagumo a lesson.

Rin Matsuoka chuckled and addressed Chabashira Sae, "Chabashira-sensei, you see, I'm alone, and they're a group. Surely you can tell who's really doing the bullying here, right?"
