Instead of just fixing my foot, the doctors wrapped my entire leg. It's like they want to slow me down. But they can't stop me! I can't even feel the pain in my leg, and that's a good sign to take action. Like I said, I waited for nightfall, and when midnight struck, I got out of bed. This cast made walking a bit harder, but I'll manage, no matter what happens. That stupid nurse said Senpai is on the floor above. Is he really there? Could she have heard what I did to Barbara and wants to test me? What if she's waiting for me in some room upstairs? I need to think carefully.
I sat in the chair next to the bed, questioning myself. THEN IT HIT ME! I'll use someone to scout the situation. Maybe this person even knows where Senpai is! Oh, how perfectly everything is falling into place!
I left the room and headed toward the ground floor to get my bearings. I had almost never been in a hospital, so I didn't know much about it. I was going down the stairs but stopped halfway because I heard voices below. Perfect, from here I can head straight to that person. The cast was really slowing me down, but I somehow made it. I slowly opened the door and entered the room where my pawn was. Naturally, it was Barbara, still in the hospital, luckily.
When I had visited her before, she was alone, but now there was someone else in the room. I thought it might be some old lady, but it was too dark to be sure. I'd have to approach Barbara carefully because of that other person. I moved toward her like a zombie. She was asleep, her head still fully bandaged.
I didn't want to waste any time, so I woke her up right away. The coward immediately panicked when she saw me, like I was there to kill her. Fortunately, she couldn't speak; all she could do was make some weird noises.
Hel: "Shut up, shut up, and listen to me. If you don't, I'll strangle you. I'm going to ask you a few questions. If the answer is yes, nod your head. If it's no, shake your head."
She nodded. I grabbed her hand and threatened her some more until she calmed down.
Hel: "Listen to me carefully now. There's a boy in this hospital with curly golden hair and light eyes. Have you seen him?"
She indicated that she hadn't.
Hel: "You've met him before when he drove you away, so you definitely remember him. Are you sure you haven't seen him?"
She shook her head.
Hel: "Can you walk?"
She nodded.
Hel: "Good. Get ready because you're going to help me find him. A disgusting nurse told me he's on the top floor, and we're going there right now."
Barbara got agitated again, started flailing her arms, and even kicked me with her leg, but that just showed me she could move. I started dragging her out of bed, but she clung to the edge and pushed me away, then began throwing pillows and other stuff at me.
Enough of this!
I knocked her to the ground and grabbed her by the throat. That's enough! I squeezed harder, but I could only see her eyes, so I couldn't fully enjoy it. Then I remembered I still needed her. I let her go, but she couldn't act like this anymore.
I noticed her sneakers in the room. I took both laces and tied them around her neck.
Hel: "Since you're such a chicken, you're either going to help me find Senpai, or we'll go look for some scissors or a knife, and you'll regret it. If you help me find Senpai, I promise I won't hurt you or threaten you again. All you have to do is enter each room and check if Senpai is there. What's it going to be?"
She thought for a moment, then nodded, agreeing. Finally. Finally, I can focus on Senpai. This chicken wasted at least 30 minutes of my time, but no matter, I'm sure it will pay off.
We headed out...
