"Let's see what is up with the world I am in is about."said Auron excitedly.
In the ancient times, the Heaven-Reaching Mountain Range stood as an unshakable fortress, a series of towering peaks that surround and protect the Ethereal Heart. These mountains, revered by all races, form a natural barrier that keeps the central continent safe from the evil forces. At their core lies the Ethereal Heart, home to the Tree of Eternis, the source of all life and magic in the world.
The Heaven-Reaching Mountain Range is not just a geographical feature—it is a mystical and divine structure that plays a crucial role in safeguarding the world's magic. Each mountain peak is infused with elemental power, forming a protective ring around the Ethereal Heart.
The mountains are said to touch the skies, and it is believed that the gods themselves placed these peaks to shield the Tree of Eternis. The energy radiating from the mountains is so potent that it not only keeps the central continent safe but also weaken the power of Evil Forces.
"That must be one colossal mountain. And it's not just a single peak but an entire range forming a ring, huh? So, what's the deal with the Tree of Eternis? There's barely any info about it other than it being in the Ethereal Heart," Auron said, intrigued.
Though many races protect their own lands, the Heaven-Reaching Mountains are watched over by an alliance of powerful beings who understand the significance of this natural barrier. In ancient times, the Four Great Families worked together to ensure the mountains were never breached.
The Four Great Families stationed at the heart of the central continent each have a stake in the protection of the Ethereal Heart. United by bloodlines that span humans, elves, dwarves, and divine beasts, they act as stewards, guarding the sacred lands and maintaining the balance of the world's magic.
The Evil Forces covet the power of the Heaven-Reaching Mountain Range and the Ethereal Heart it protects. From their dark caves and corrupted forests, they have attempted to breach the mountains many times, but the powerful magic within the peaks repels their influence. As long as the mountains stand, the Evil Forces cannot seize control of the Tree of Eternis or corrupt the world's life force.
However, Evil Forces have begun to creep into the lower slopes, corrupting some of the lands surrounding the mountain range. The defenders know that should the Evil Forces breach even a single peak, it would create a path to the heart of the world—the very thing the Evil Forces desire most.
"Hmm, there's certainly a lot of information shrouded in mystery, like these Evil Forces and the 4 Great Families. This book barely mentions them—just hints that one acts as a guardian while the other seems like invaders," Auron remarked, deep in thought.
The North region are protected by The Yeti Tribe In the frigid lands of the North, the Yeti Tribe stands as the region's protector. These towering beings, with their strength and resilience, protect the icy tundras and mountain passes from Evil force incursions. Their domain stretches across the snowy peaks that surround the Heaven-Reaching Mountain, where they serve as the mountain's first line of defense.
"Wow, the Yeti Tribe! I never expected to hear such a familiar term from my old world. From the description, it sounds just like the ones from Earth. People always claimed there were Yetis at the North Pole, but there was never a shred of proof," Auron mused.
The West are protected by The Thundercrest Empire. The Human Empire of the West is a powerful kingdom that has withstood many Evil forces attacks. The empire's Paladins and Swordmasters are renowned for their might and discipline, defending their vast lands from the dark forces lurking at the fringes. They command vast armies, with ranks filled by skilled archers, steadfast knights, unyielding shieldmen, and fearless lancers, all ready to defend their realm. Their capital, Skyvault City, fortified by ancient magic and nestled at the foot of Tempest Crown, a thunderous mountain, towers with majestic spires that touch the storm-laden sky. Its gleaming walls crackle with captured lightning, and grand halls echo with the hum of power, standing as a shining testament to human resilience and unmatched strength.
The East are guarded by The Elves, Dwarves, and Spirit Alliance. The East is a land rich in natural magic, where Elves, Dwarves, and Spirits have formed an alliance to fend off the Evil Forces. The Elves, with their mastery over nature and magic, are the frontline defenders, while the Dwarves provide unmatched weapons and fortresses. The Spirits, beings connected to the land itself, wield the very essence of nature to protect their realm. The elves dwell within towering, ancient trees that form a natural fortress and labyrinth, serving as both their home and defense. The dwarves, deep underground, build cities illuminated by the eternal fires of their forges, where their craftsmanship never ceases. Spirits, invisible but ever-present, watch over the East Continent, acting as the silent eyes and ears of the land itself.Together, they form an unbreakable bond to safeguard their sacred forests and mountains from the Evil Forces threat.
"They have elves and dwarves here too! I should've expected it—whenever magic is involved, those two races usually come along. I can't wait to see them for myself," Auron said with growing excitement.
The Guardian of the South are lead by The League of Beast Riders. These people made up from nomadic tribe of human and dark elves. In the South, the humans are a nomadic tribe known for their fierce Beast Riders. These warriors ride upon Griffons, Dire Wolves, and other mighty creatures, striking down Evil Forces invaders with unmatched speed and ferocity. Other than that , they are an excellent hunter. Beyond their prowess in battle, they are exceptional hunters, mastering the art of marksmanship, displaying remarkable creativity in crafting intricate traps, and expertly handling a wide array of deadly poisons. These humans have a great relationship with the dark elves as their ancestors learn how to tame the beast from them. Their lands, though wild and untamed, are defended with a deep understanding of the wilderness, and their connection to their beasts makes them formidable defenders of the southern frontiers.
"That's incredible, riding beasts like Griffins and Direwolves! We definitely didn't have anything like that on Earth. I still don't know which continent I'm on, but it feels like I'm in the Thundercrest Empire. And the thought of my parents being part of a tribe… it's hard to believe," Auron said thoughtfully. "What do you think, Xiao Yu?"
"I believe you're right, Sir," Xiao Yu assured him.
