After zayne and Leo were done with classes, they went back home. When they got home, their parents weren't around and it was late. Zayne rushed up to his room and freshened up. He asked the maids to prepare food for him. After taking his bath, he ate and dressed up preparing to go out.
Zayne being rich still wanted to still make his own money. He didn't want to rely on his father's money. So he took a part job as a photographer at ZEKE GROUP. ZEKE GROUP was a family business that was passed down from generations to generations. It had so many other business like the hotel, the airline, the shopping mall, the restaurant and the tech company.
Zayne worked in the tech company as a photographer. His parents never knew of this only Leo, his crazy brother who was concerned about everything he did.
After dressing, he took his camera and laptop, put them in his bag and left for work. It was already late but the company usually closes by 9. When he got there, he went to his cubicle, brought out his laptop and started editing some pictures. He was really good at editing pictures and because of that, his department manager made him his assistant.
While he was working, the secretary walked up to him and greeted him. Zayne been Zayne didn't pay attention to her after she was done greeting. Her name was Amy. Amy was the receptionist in the group. She was fair, slim and average girl. She was mostly known for her mouth. She really talked a lot even while working. Zayne continued editing pictures until 9. When he checked the time, he knew his parents were home already. So he packed his bag, bid everyone goodnight and left.
When he got home, he was shocked to see his mother waiting for him in the parlor.
Mom, he said when he saw her.
Where are you coming from? She asked immediately looking at him with fierce eyes. Their curfew was 9 so he wasn't that late.
Mom it's late already. You should be sleeping already, he said trying to avoid the question his mom asked.
Don't try to avoid my question Zayne, his mom warned.
I went to Louis house, he lied.
What!!!! At this ungodly hour, his mom screamed.
Mom stop it, okay? Zayne yelled. Why are you pretending like you care, just let me be. He said and stormed away. His mother was shocked.
What just happened? She asked herself.
Zayne entered his room and banged the door so hard. He threw his bag on the table and fell on the bed. Then many thoughts ran through his head. Why did she stay up late? Was she concerned? His parents never showed concern for them. They were always busy. They only cared about work and were hungry for more money. So he was surprised when he saw her waiting.
But wait!! How come she knew he wasn't around?
LEO!!!!
It must be him. Zayne groaned and tossed on the bed. He was seriously going to teach him a lesson. After thinking for a little while, he slept off.

Zayne woke up lazily from the bed. He unlocked his phone and checked the time. Wow, he slept for a long time. He kicked the blanket from his body, picked his towel and entered the bathroom. After a very long bath, he came out and searched for simple clothes to wear. He picked out a shirt and black trousers. There were no lectures today. As he wore his clothes, he remembered that he needed to talk to Leo. After he was done, he rushed down immediately to his brother's room. He pushed the door open without knocking and went inside. Leo was sleeping peacefully on the bed and sticking his tongue out. Zayne chuckled when he saw his posture on the bed. He kicked his leg several times waiting for him to wake up.
Leo, wake up.
Ahhh, Leo groaned and woke up.
Who is that? Leo asked with sleepy eyes.
Wake up fool, zayne roared.
Zayne, it's you? What do you want? Leo bombarded him with lots of questions when he finally opened his eyes.
What did you tell mom? He asked.
What are you saying? I didn't see mom in my dream, Leo said trying to fall back in bed.
Hey stop spitting, zayne grabbed his collar and dragged him up. What did you tell her about my job?
Oh that? Leo finally knew what he was talking about.
Uhm, Leo scratched the back of his head and spoke.
You didn't come back early last night and she entered your room. So, she asked me where you went to and I had to tell her the truth, he confessed.
Zayne was confused and worried. Why was she in his room? Was there anything important she wanted to talk about?
