Chapter 43 - C:45

As everyone gathered around the breakfast table, the atmosphere was light and filled with anticipation. The long wooden table was laden with fresh fruits, bread, and a variety of dishes, each emitting a rich aroma that tempted the senses. The sunlight filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow over everyone seated.

Rosalia took her place next to me, her hand brushing mine as she sat down, her presence soft yet unmistakably intimate. Across from us, my sisters exchanged mischievous glances, their playful nature bubbling just beneath the surface. Aurora, always the first to initiate, leaned forward with a teasing smile.

"So, Rosé," she began, her tone filled with false innocence. "You seem... different this morning. More energized. Anything you'd like to share with the rest of us?"

Her words hung in the air, and I could feel the attention shift to me and Rosalia, who gave a small, knowing smile in response. Aurora's teasing was always gentle but relentless, and she never missed an opportunity.

I smirked but remained quiet, unwilling to give her the satisfaction of a full response just yet. Before I could say anything, Elara jumped in.

"Come on, Aurora, it's obvious. Rosé and Mom are practically glowing," Elara said, her voice lilting with humor. She tilted her head slightly, her silver eyes sparkling with amusement.

Liora, who had been quietly nibbling on a piece of bread, chimed in, "I mean, we all heard the... excitement last night." She gave me a wink, causing the table to break into a ripple of laughter.

Rosalia chuckled beside me, her fingers lightly brushing against mine under the table. "Oh, don't be shy, Rosé," she said softly, her voice carrying the hint of a challenge. "You should give them what they want."

I raised an eyebrow, meeting her gaze. "And what exactly do they want?" I asked, playing along with her teasing.

Elara leaned back in her chair, smirking. "We want to hear about your night, of course. But maybe not *all* the details. Just enough to satisfy our curiosity."

Hestia, who had been quietly observing the exchange, chuckled and folded her arms. "I think we can all guess what happened," she said, her voice full of warmth. "But it's good to see you two happy." She turned her gaze to Rosalia her daughter.

Rosalia smiled, her eyes meeting mine for a moment before she turned back to Hestia. "I think we've both found something special in each other," she said, her voice soft yet filled with emotion.

The teasing didn't stop, though. Eldara, always the more serene and composed one, couldn't resist adding her own subtle jab. "Though I must say, it's surprising that Mom has the energy to keep up with everything... considering how late you two stayed up."

Mom's cheeks flushed slightly, though she did her best to hide it. "I'm more resilient than I look," I replied, trying to maintain her composure.

The entire table erupted in lighthearted laughter, and for a moment, it felt like we were all just enjoying the simple joy of being together as a family. The teasing, though relentless, was never malicious. It was filled with affection, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for these moments.

As the laughter began to subside, and everyone's attention returned to their plates, I decided to shift the conversation. Leaning back slightly in my chair, I spoke up.

"Speaking of energy," I began, drawing everyone's attention back to me, "I've been thinking about expanding the farm."

That caught their interest. Rosalia glanced at me with curiosity while Aurora sat up straighter, clearly intrigued. "Expanding?" she asked, her eyebrows raised. "What do you have in mind?"

I nodded, taking a sip of water before continuing. "Now that the soil has fully recovered and the land is thriving, I've been thinking we should expand the crops, maybe even add some new sections to cultivate rarer plants and herbs. The soil's development has been remarkable, and there's a lot of untapped potential here."

Elara leaned forward, her eyes narrowing in thought. "That's ambitious, but it could work. The land around the Oak has been growing stronger by the day. We've seen the benefits already with how quickly everything is maturing."

Rosalia, ever practical, added, "What do you need for the expansion? More hands? New seeds?"

I nodded. "Both, actually. If we can gather some new seeds—rare ones—we could cultivate plants that haven't been seen in this region for a long time. And with Seraphina's honey, we could enhance their growth even further."

At the mention of Seraphina, the bee queen buzzed softly in the air, making her presence known from her perch near the window. Aurora's eyes lit up at the mention of her, clearly eager to see more of the celestial honey in action.

"I'm sure Seraphina would be happy to help," Aurora said, glancing over at the glowing bee queen. "She's practically a miracle worker when it comes to plants."

Aunt Mira, who had been quietly listening to the conversation, finally spoke up. "The farm's connection to nature has deepened since the Oak tree evolved," she said, her voice thoughtful. "And now with Cassie's presence, the land has more potential than ever. If you want to expand, you'll need her help as well."

Cassie, who had been sitting quietly beside me, looked up at the mention of her name. Her orange eyes glowed softly, and she gave a small nod. "I'll do whatever I can to help, Creator."

I smiled, reaching out to gently pat Cassie's head. "Thank you, Cassie. I'm glad to have you by my side."

The room fell into a comfortable silence for a moment as everyone considered the possibilities. There was a sense of excitement building, a shared understanding that this farm could become something even greater with the right effort.

Elara was the first to break the silence, her tone serious. "We'll need to prepare the land carefully. If we push it too hard, we could risk overextending ourselves. But if we do this right, we could bring something truly extraordinary to life."

Rosalia nodded in agreement. "I think we can handle it. Between the family and the bond you've built with the land, it feels like the natural next step."

Eldara, ever the voice of wisdom, added, "Balance is key. The land will give you what you need if you respect it. Trust in the bond you've created here, Rosé."

I met her gaze, appreciating her insight. "I will," I said firmly. "And with all of your help, I know we can make this farm thrive like never before."

The energy around the table shifted, from the lighthearted teasing of earlier to a sense of shared purpose. This expansion wasn't just about growing the farm—it was about deepening our connection to the land and each other. It was a way to build something lasting, something that would benefit everyone.

As breakfast continued, the conversation drifted into planning and ideas, each family member contributing their thoughts on how best to proceed.
