Chapter 1 - C:1

I woke to the sound of creaking wood beneath me and the scent of pine in the air. Blinking slowly, I took in my surroundings—bare walls, a small wooden table, and a bed that groaned under the slightest movement. Sunlight spilled through a crack in the window, bathing the room in a soft, golden light.

I sat up, groggy at first, but the haze quickly cleared. My memories rushed back like a flood. I was… *I am* Rosé NightFall, once a god. The power I once commanded, the very essence of the cosmos itself, was gone. I could no longer feel the overwhelming surge of divinity coursing through my veins.

I clenched my fists, testing my strength. Weaker—so much weaker than before. It was unsettling, yet familiar, as if I had lived this moment a thousand times over. I reached within myself, searching for any fragment of what I once had. There was nothing but silence.

No, not silence. A faint hum… something deeper, untouched by whatever stripped me of my power. My *inventory.* My limitless trove of treasures, relics, and tools—my one remaining gift. And, perhaps more importantly, my memories. Every battle, every alliance, every fall and rise—I remembered it all.

I closed my eyes and willed the inventory to open, feeling its familiar presence flicker to life in my mind. A rush of warmth spread through me. *At least some things are eternal,* I thought.

But where in the realms was I now? I stood, legs shaky but capable, and made my way to the window. Outside, a dense forest stretched as far as I could see, the trees swaying gently in the wind. A strange world. I had gotten bored of the constant fighting so I activated the reincarnation spell and ended up here.I wasn't the god I used to be but this was the point.

I stood there for a moment, staring out at the forest beyond the small house, letting the reality of my situation sink in. Stripped of my godhood, my divine power scattered, and my former life nothing but a distant memory. But not everything had been lost. I could feel it deep within, like a quiet whisper echoing in my soul—my sin absorption and embodiment.

That was one thing no force could strip away, no matter how far I fell or how many times I die.

I would always comeback as I am eternal.
