The narrator said, "While his sister was asleep, Joseph snuck out in the middle of the night with his jacket and flashlight. Joseph snuck over to Angelica's house, snuck in through the window, and used his flashlight to look around." Joseph saw the place looked nice. He saw a bunch of singing trophies on one of her shelves. He also found many werewolf books and movies on another two shelves. Joseph then went upstairs to Angelica's bedroom and saw a life-size coffin inside. He opened the coffin and saw a bed inside, but nobody was there. The narrator said, "Joseph wondered why Angelica had a coffin for a bed and concluded she was a goth since they enjoy coffins."
Joseph then found Angelica's desk and put a rose with a note on the desk. Joseph said, "Mission accomplished." Joseph then heard somebody unlocking the front door and got worried. Joseph said, "Uh oh." Joseph peered downstairs and saw Angelica walking in. Then she locked the door back up, and Joseph hid in one of the rooms. The narrator said, "Joseph looked out of the room and saw Angelica enter the bathroom. Once she shut the door, Joseph ran downstairs and escaped through the same window he came in through." Angelica heard something downstairs, so she checked it out and saw one of the windows open. Angelica looked out of it but saw no one because Joseph hid under it. Then Angelica shut and locked the window without knowing Joseph was there until she found the rose and note on her desk. Angelica read the letter and thought it was lovely. Then she sniffed the rose and thought it was nice of Joseph to leave it for her. Joseph then snuck back home, and Megan heard him come in. Megan peered out of her room and saw Joseph returning to his room, wearing his jacket and carrying a flashlight. Megan whispered, "What is he up to?"
The narrator said, "The next day, to celebrate Transylvania being vampire-free, the whole town celebrated with a party at An Alright Fright Bite. They started with a hoedown song with Joseph as the leader." Before Joseph began, he spotted Angelica in the crowd and saw her run further into the crew. Then Joseph felt depressed, walked onto the stage, and started to sing. Everyone in the audience began to clap to Joseph's music and did what he sang. Then, they all separated and clapped three times. The audience then grabbed a partner, danced with whom they got paired, and did what Joseph was singing in his song. Then Joseph walked off stage into the audience while singing and started synchronizing dance with them. The whole audience still did as Joseph sang in his music. Joseph then danced back up on stage. When he finished, the entire audience clapped for him.
Different music then played, and everyone at the party started to dance. Angelica spotted Joseph and hid, but Joseph found her. Joseph said, "Angelica." Angelica got nervous and said, "Oh, Joseph." Joseph crossed his arms and said, "If I didn't know better, I'd say you were avoiding me." Angelica asked, "Avoiding? Why would I do that?" Joseph bought it and said, "Ok, but I'm slightly disappointed. I was hoping you'd ask me to dance." Angelica took an interest and said, "Oh." Angelica and Joseph then danced while Megan and Franco watched. Megan said, "I can't believe Joseph is dancing with the person who beat us out the other night." Franco said, "I can. It was his idea." Franco gave Megan his hand and asked, "Would you like to dance?" Megan then took Franco's hand, and they danced together, just like Joseph and Angelica. Joseph and Angelica then came together. Joseph said, "I had doubts about you, and so did my sister, but I think I like you." Angelica said, "That makes two of us. I think I like you too." Joseph then dipped Angelica and pulled her back up. Joseph kissed Angelica's hand and said, "Thank you for the lovely dance."
The narrator said, "After the party, Megan and Joseph went home, and once they got there, Joseph wrote a new song. When he got it right, Joseph grabbed his backpack and snuck out the window. Megan saw him sneak out, wondering what he was up to, so she followed him to Franco's house." Franco invited him in, and Megan spied on them through Franco's dining room window. Megan saw them dueling at Franco's dining room table. Joseph said, "I've upgraded my deck since our last match." Franco said, "So have I." Megan said, "So he's been sneaking out, meeting Franco, and not telling me." Megan looked again and saw Joseph had 1800 Life Points and Franco had 650. Joseph said, "I'll finish this duel with Stop Defense. This card switches your monster into Attack Mode." Joseph saw Franco put The Dark Magician Girl (2000/1700) on the field. Joseph said, "I'll now play Dragon Nails, raising my Red-Eyes Black Dragon's power by 600 points." Then Red-Eyes Black Dragon's power rose from 2400 to 3000. Joseph said, "Red-Eyes Black Dragon, inferno fire blast." Then Joseph's Red-Eyes destroyed Franco's Dark Magician Girl, and he lost 1000 Life Points, bringing him down to 0.
Joseph and Franco then shook hands and thought it was a good game. Franco said, "Good game, bro. I'll get you next time." Joseph said, "We'll see about that." Joseph picked up his cards, put them in his pocket, and left Franco's house. After he left, Megan came out from hiding and was surprised she still couldn't catch Joseph in anything terrible. The narrator said, "Megan then began to sing about how she wondered what Joseph was up to." Megan sang about what he did and how suspicious it was. The narrator said, "When Megan finished singing, she returned home and saw Joseph on her way there."
Joseph then went to Angelica's house to invite her to hear his new music. After he asked her, Joseph went home, and when Megan got home, she heard Joseph playing the guitar and singing. Megan went to Joseph's room and saw him playing the guitar and singing. When he finished, Megan clapped for him. Joseph said, "Oh, hi, Megan." Megan said, "Joseph." Joseph asked, "Megan, did you want something?" Megan said, "I just wanted to hear your song." Joseph said, "Ok, well, you can leave now." Megan left and shut the door. Once Megan was gone, Joseph took a glass of water he had brought into his room and licked it to drink like a dog. Megan walked back in and saw Joseph drinking the water like a dog. Once Joseph saw Megan, he drank the water like an average person. Megan said, "I saw that." Joseph asked, "Saw what?" Megan said, "I'm not exactly sure." Megan left and thought about what she saw, but since she wasn't sure about it, she left it alone.
The narrator said, "Once Angelica arrived at their house, she knocked on the door, and Joseph let her in. Then Joseph and Angelica sat on Joseph's porch, and Joseph sang his new song for Angelica, expressing his feelings for her. Megan then opened the window while Joseph was singing and listened in." Megan liked the music, but she was afraid he was making friends with Angelica. Joseph then wrote down his phone number on a slip of paper and gave it to Angelica. Joseph said, "Call me." Angelica left, and Joseph went back inside, and Megan was getting worried about him.
