Episode Prologue:
DRAVEN THE BLOODTHIRSTY
500 years ago, the war between vampires and humans ended when one vampire, known as Draven the Bloodthirsty, used his powers of persuasion to charm world leaders into creating a treaty between the two races. In the present day, vampires have seamlessly integrated into human society and are almost forgotten. However, there is a group of humans who call themselves Slayers and believe that vampires will one day return and must be eradicated.
The Slayers' greatest fear was Draven, the most powerful vampire of his time. During the signing of the treaty, four individuals were present who were able to resist his charm. These four were the first humans to unlock their abilities or magic. Draven feared that if humans realized they also possessed magical abilities, he would no longer be able to use his powers of persuasion against them. Unfortunately, in an attempt to stop the Slayers, he inadvertently caused the realization of magic in humans.
One of the four individuals at the meeting was one of the founders of the group known as "the Slayers." they later discovered that Draven was actually one of the few vampires who desired coexistence with humans and did not want any more bloodshed. Still, this revelation did not matter to the Slayers, as they continued their mission to hunt down all vampires. One Slayer with powerful magical abilities had been chasing Draven deep into the forest for days until she finally weakened him due to his lack of sustenance. In a last-ditch effort, since he was now the only surviving member of his family, he transferred his entire being and all his powers directly into his weapon.
With his magical ability, he could transfer the essence of a living creature's life force to an object. If someone fulfilled the conditions he set for the transfer, they would gain the same powers and abilities as the original creature. This resulted in the creation of a mighty labyrinth that formed around the weapon. Only those who met specific requirements were allowed to enter this dungeon to wield the weapon and gain Draven's abilities.
The first requirement was having no magical abilities, followed by being human and having strong empathy for others while also being a natural-born leader. He hoped that whoever picked up his Blood Weapon, The Crimson Reaper, would continue his dream of coexistence between vampires and humans.
500 years passed quickly, and much has changed in the present day. Vampires and humans still coexist, but vampires now live in hiding and keep their powers a secret from humans. Those who do interact with humans must hide their abilities and pretend to be human. As vampires have the innate ability to use magic, blending into human society is relatively easy for them as they no longer need to rely on blood skills.
In the past The Slayer who had pursued Draven into the forest and weakened him witnessed his strange transformation into a weapon, she was a young woman named Evelynn. She hesitated as she stood before the ominous labyrinth that had materialized around Draven's weapon.
She tried to approach the Labyrinth with cautious steps, her heart pounding in anticipation. The structure loomed before her, its ancient stone walls covered in twisting vines that seemed to whisper secrets of old. Shadows danced across its entrance, beckoning her closer with a seductive allure.
As Evelynn neared the threshold, she could feel a strange energy pulsating from within the Labyrinth, a force both mystical and foreboding. There were whispers in the wind, faint echoes of a thousand lost souls who had died by her blade.
But as she reached out a trembling hand to touch the cold stone, a sudden realization washed over her - she did not meet the requirements to enter. Panic welled up inside her as she frantically searched for a way to prove herself worthy, but it was too late.
Without warning, spikes shot out from the ground with deadly precision, piercing her flesh with a sickening crunch. Evelynn's screams echoed through the air, mixing with the haunting cries of the lost souls within the Labyrinth. Her life force began to transfer to Draven's weapon, leaving her mortal form behind. Now, all her strength and experience in combat was transferred into the weapon, and she became a part of it. Throughout time, numerous individuals have attempted to access the Labyrinth, but their lack of worthiness ultimately caused them to lose their souls.
