An average young man that looked like he was beginning high school was standing in a crowd watching a hero and a villain fight. In this world, everyone has a power. Some are useless, some are useful.
The problem with powers is that there are some people who would've been ordinary serial killers if it weren't for powers turn out to be villains. And Aki was nothing special. People go to dungeons to farm and get stronger with normal monsters and whatnot. Aki, however, just sat in his room and played video games. He had two powers - which wasn't too special - One mostly useless, one mostly useful. The former was that he could summon and command monsters that were several classes stronger than him. Monsters had a class and rank. The amount of shards(exp for any gamers) you got depends entirely on rank. Ranks went from A-Z with Z being strongest. Well, mostly. The true current highest is STZ. Three separate ranks. S, T then Z. And classes are different for all monsters. The latter was that he could use magic. A basic skill. He much rather preferred a sword. And just when he was done thinking about all of that, he heard a roar of cheers. The hero won against the villain. 'Figures...' He began to walk back after the 5 hour fight he just unknowingly stood through, it was night. He reached his house and out of nowhere, a monster jumped out at him from an alleyway.
