The atmosphere at the academy had grown tense in the days following Leo's duel with Chōka. Whispers of his victory had spread like wildfire, reaching the ears of both students and faculty alike. For the boys, Leo had become a symbol of defiance—a break from the norm in a world where they were often seen as weak or subservient. For the Five Supreme Swords, he was an anomaly that needed to be understood, and perhaps, even challenged.

In the private meeting room used by the Five Supreme Swords, the air was thick with tension. Rin Onigawara, Mary Kikakujou, Satori Tamaba, Warabi Hanasaka, and Chōka U. Baragasaki sat around a large circular table. A serious discussion was unfolding.

"This can't go on," Rin stated bluntly, her eyes filled with determination. "Leo's victory has stirred up the boys. They're getting ideas—dangerous ones."

Chōka, leaning back in her chair with arms crossed, was less bothered. "So what if they get ideas? A little shake-up isn't necessarily bad. Besides, Leo fought fair and won. You can't fault him for that."

Mary, always the calm observer, interjected. "It's not about the fight. It's about the message it sends. If Leo continues like this, the balance of power in the academy could shift. That could lead to more conflicts."

Warabi nodded, her expression serious for once. "The academy thrives on its traditions. If those are undermined, who knows what could happen?"

Satori, typically the most unpredictable of the group, smiled. "Well, I think it's exciting. A bit of chaos keeps things interesting."

Rin shot her a glare but didn't respond. "Regardless of what we think, we need to keep an eye on him. I don't trust his intentions. He's an unknown in our world."

Mary agreed. "Then let's watch him closely. If he steps out of line, we'll handle it."

Meanwhile, Leo continued his daily routine, aware that he was under scrutiny. His presence in the academy's training grounds had become a regular spectacle, drawing students curious to see the "boy who challenged the Five Supreme Swords."

Leo practiced his katas with precision, each movement deliberate and focused. He knew his every action was being watched and judged. Nomura and Masuko often accompanied him, and both had noticed the shift in how the boys regarded Leo.

"Looks like the boys are looking up to you more now," Nomura commented, taking a break from his own training.

Masuko grinned. "Yeah, and you've got the girls' attention too. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not."

Leo chuckled, wiping sweat from his brow. "Attention is a double-edged sword here. But it's better than being ignored."

As they continued their practice, a group of girls from the academy, led by a student named Yuno Taki, gathered around. Yuno was known for her fierce attitude, and she had a particular interest in those who defied expectations.

"Leo, was it?" Yuno called out, stepping forward. "I've heard you've been causing quite a stir lately. Think you can handle another challenge?"

Leo turned to face her, already sensing the shift in the crowd's mood. "What did you have in mind?"

Yuno grinned. "A friendly spar. Nothing serious. I just want to see for myself what all the fuss is about."

A crowd quickly gathered around the training ring as Yuno and Leo prepared for their spar. Nomura and Masuko watched from the sidelines, and they could hear the excited chatter of the students around them.

"This should be interesting. Yuno's pretty skilled," one student said.

"Yeah, but Leo's not a pushover. Did you see his fight with Chōka?" another responded.

The tension in the air was palpable. Leo could feel his heart beating faster, but he remained calm. Yuno, on the other hand, was already in her fighting stance, her eyes locked onto him with a mix of curiosity and intensity.

Leo mirrored her stance, keeping his movements fluid and loose. "Ready when you are."

The sparring match started without a formal signal. Yuno was quick, darting forward with a series of rapid strikes. Leo dodged and parried, noting the speed and precision of her movements. She was fast—faster than he had expected.

Yuno smirked, seeing Leo on the defensive. "What's wrong? Can't keep up?"

Leo didn't respond verbally. Instead, he shifted his stance, moving from defense to offense in an instant. He closed the gap between them and launched a counterattack with a quick jab followed by a low sweep. Yuno was forced to backpedal, narrowly avoiding his blows.

The crowd's murmurs grew louder. "He's adapting quickly," a student noted.

Yuno didn't let up. She lunged forward again, this time aiming a high kick at Leo's head. He ducked under it, grabbing her extended leg and using her momentum to flip her over. Yuno landed on her feet, barely managing to recover in time.

"Nice move," she said, breathing heavily but clearly enjoying the fight. "But let's see how you handle this!"

She charged again, this time with a flurry of punches and kicks that seemed almost relentless. Leo blocked and dodged, his movements becoming more fluid and instinctual. He could feel the rhythm of the fight now, the ebb and flow of their movements. He countered with a swift spinning kick, catching Yuno off guard and sending her stumbling back.

The crowd gasped in surprise. "He's got some serious skills!" a student exclaimed.

Nomura and Masuko exchanged a glance. "He's really holding his own out there," Masuko said, impressed.

Yuno, realizing she needed to change her strategy, took a step back and adjusted her stance. "Not bad, Leo. But this isn't over yet."

The two fighters squared off again, each sizing up the other. Leo could see the determination in Yuno's eyes, and he knew she wasn't going to make this easy. He took a deep breath, focusing on the moment.

Suddenly, Yuno launched herself forward, but this time, she aimed for a feint. Leo read her movement and dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding her real strike aimed at his ribs. He countered with a quick elbow strike, connecting with her shoulder and throwing her off balance.

Yuno stumbled, and Leo seized the opportunity. With a swift leg sweep, he knocked her to the ground and immediately followed up with a downward strike, stopping just inches from her face.

The crowd fell silent, stunned by the rapid sequence of moves. Yuno lay on the ground, breathing heavily but with a grin on her face. "Alright, you got me."

Leo offered her a hand, helping her up. "Good match. You're fast."

Yuno laughed, wiping sweat from her brow. "You're not too bad yourself. Guess I see what all the hype is about now."

The crowd erupted into applause, some cheering for Yuno's tenacity, while others were impressed by Leo's skill.

As the crowd dispersed, Nomura and Masuko approached Leo, both grinning from ear to ear. "That was awesome!" Nomura exclaimed. "You're really starting to make a name for yourself."

Masuko nodded. "But remember, not everyone's going to be happy about it. You're still an outsider here."

Leo understood the implications. With every fight, every challenge, he was drawing more attention—both good and bad. The Five Supreme Swords were watching him closely, and he needed to be ready for whatever came next.

That evening, as Leo returned to his dorm room, he found a note slipped under his door. He picked it up and read it:

"Meet me in the north courtyard after dark. I want to talk. — Rin Onigawara"

Leo's eyes narrowed. Rin, the most wary of the Five Supreme Swords, wanted to meet him in private. This could be a trap, or it could be an opportunity to understand her better.

He glanced out the window. The sun was setting, casting long shadows across the academy grounds. Whatever this meeting was about, he had a feeling it was going to be important.
