The County Seat, Prefecture Guard Office
Su Yuanming strode into the Prefecture Guard Office and headed straight for a duty room.
"Where's Uncle Luo?" he asked a constable upon entering the room.
"Yuanming, what brings you here?" a middle-aged man asked as he walked in from outside. It was Uncle Luo. Seeing Su Yuanming's urgency, he couldn't help but inquire.
"Uncle Luo, help me find someone, quickly, come with me," Su Yuanming said, grabbing Uncle Luo's arm.
"Find someone? What happened?" Uncle Luo asked, frowning at Su Yuanming's anxiousness.
"Someone has been taken, but I don't know who the culprit is. This is her garment, Uncle Luo. I know you have the ability to track scents. Please help me find her; she's very important to me."
Su Yuanming took out Mu Wanqing's garment from his embrace and handed it to Uncle Luo.
Uncle Luo didn't take the garment but simply sniffed the air a few times.
"Take me to where she disappeared," he said to Su Yuanming.
He understood the urgency of the situation and didn't ask about the relationship between the woman and Su Yuanming.
The two left the Prefecture Guard Office and galloped towards the Mu Residence.
In no time, they arrived outside the Mu Residence. Uncle Luo leaped off his horse, stood by the outer wall of the residence, and after a short while, got back on his horse and galloped off in a specific direction. Su Yuanming quickly followed.
Meanwhile, inside the manor
Mu Wanqing was desperately searching for a way to escape, but she found that all the doors and windows were locked. Unable to leave, she could only shake the door again.
Suddenly, the door opened.
Lu Song slowly walked in. His eyes lit up as he saw Mu Wanqing struggling with the door. She was indeed beautiful, her entire being radiating the elegance of a well-bred lady.
"That Qin Hao never disappoints me," Lu Song muttered to himself, then looked at Mu Wanqing with a wicked smile.
"Who are you? Why did you capture me?" Mu Wanqing asked, a chill running down her spine as she saw Lu Song's sinister smile. She instinctively took a few steps back, looking at him nervously.
"I didn't capture you. You were a gift," Lu Song said with a cold laugh, taking a step closer to Mu Wanqing with each word.
"Don't come any closer! If you do, I'll smash my head against the wall and die right in front of you!" Mu Wanqing exclaimed, sensing something terrible was about to happen as Lu Song approached. A glint of determination flashed in her eyes; she would never let anyone defile her.
"How valiant. But here, you can only die if I allow it!"
Lu Song's cultivation was at the fifth level of the Earth Realm, while Mu Wanqing, though skilled in martial arts, was no match for him. Even death would be difficult in his grasp.
Two surges of energy shot out from his hands, hitting Mu Wanqing's shoulders. The white gauze dress she wore began to slip off. She desperately clutched at it, trying to prevent it from falling.
But Lu Song sent out a few more bursts of energy. Her gauze dress ripped apart, revealing her snow-white skin.
Mu Wanqing desperately tried to cover herself with her hands, but Lu Song, with a sinister smile, sent another surge of energy towards her. Mu Wanqing froze, her entire body immobilized as if she had been struck by a pressure point technique.
Her white dress slid down completely.
Mu Wanqing's face flushed crimson with shame as she looked at her fallen clothes. Lu Song, on the other hand, had a lecherous glint in his eyes.
Just then, a dark shadow suddenly shot out from under the bed in the room. Several blue rays of light shot out from the shadow, aiming straight for Lu Song's chest.
Lu Song's expression changed as he saw the sudden attack. He swiftly retreated, twisting his body mid-motion to dodge the hidden weapons.
"Who's there?" he shouted, his gaze sharp as he looked towards the source of the attack after dodging the projectiles.
The shadow, having missed its initial attack, drew two swords, one long and one short. The blades gleamed with a blue light, seemingly coated with a deadly poison.
Although the figure was clad in black, the curves beneath the clothing revealed it to be a woman. Her exposed eyes were filled with hatred as she glared at Lu Song, as if she wanted to tear him to shreds.
"Demon! Today is the day you die!" the woman in black shouted.
She moved with incredible speed, appearing before Lu Song in the blink of an eye. Her two swords, transformed into two blue streaks of light, attacked Lu Song from the left and right. The speed of her attack was astonishing; she was aiming for a single, fatal blow.
Facing the onslaught, Lu Song merely sneered. He stood his ground, extending his slender hand. A wave of qi surged in his hand, transforming it into a blade. He swung his hand, striking the incoming swords and blocking the attack completely.
The woman in black paled at this. She swiftly changed her approach, attacking Lu Song from various angles, but each attack was effortlessly blocked.
The difference in their strength was simply too great.
"I'm done playing with you!" Lu Song suddenly said with a cold laugh. His罡qi surged, and his hand transformed into a fist, gathering a dense concentration of energy. He then punched towards the woman in black.
The woman cried out, trying to block the blow, but the fist was not only powerful but also incredibly fast. It pierced through her defenses and struck her squarely in the chest.
The woman in black grunted, thrown back several steps by the force of the blow. Blood trickled from the corner of her lips.
Clang! Clang!
Two bursts of energy pierced through the woman's wrists, forcing her to drop her swords. They clattered against the ground.
Lu Song didn't stop there.
Two more bursts of energy shot out, striking the woman's knees. She stubbornly refused to fall, but beads of sweat dripped down her forehead.
"How spirited. Let me see your face."
Lu Song pointed a finger at the woman, sending out another burst of energy that struck her veil. It fluttered to the ground, revealing a face as beautiful as Mu Wanqing's.
"Hmm? Have we met before?" Lu Song frowned, feeling like he had seen the woman before. But he quickly dismissed the thought. A woman like her, if he had met her before, would have already been drained of her essence and left to die.
"You demon! You cruelly murdered my sister! I'm here to avenge her!" the woman shouted, ignoring her injuries. Her eyes were filled with hatred, as if she wanted to devour Lu Song alive.
"So that's it," Lu Song muttered, realizing that the woman must have had a sister who resembled her, a sister he had killed after taking her essence.
At that moment, at the back gate of the manor
Uncle Luo and Su Yuanming arrived on horseback.
"Yuanming, she should be inside!" Uncle Luo said, looking at the manor's back gate.
Upon hearing this, Su Yuanming leaped off his horse and vaulted over the gate, entering the manor.
His heart was ablaze with worry. He had to find Mu Wanqing as quickly as possible. He feared that any delay would put her in grave danger.
