PENDING QUEST 2
"Quest Pending? So, as far as the quest isn't completed, there is no reward. I think I better get to finding them before the system penalizes me."
Coming out of the restroom, Tahir saw two people hurl him back into the restroom. Right in Tahir's face were the two bullies, and suddenly a weird smile started to form across his face.
"You think you can just interfere in our playtime and walk away?" one of the bullies asked.
"Walk away? Who told you guys I was walking away? The teacher saved your lame butts. Oh wait, you two really thought you could beat me?" Tahir said before erupting into laughter.
"What's up with this level 2 creep? You think scaring us and acting all strong would save your life right now? There are people in this academy who you ain't supposed to mess with," one of the bullies said.
Just when Tahir was about to talk back, he saw one of the bullies running toward him with an ice dagger. Tahir moved quickly, grabbed the guy, and slammed his head into the ground. Moving fast, Tahir tensed his punch and attempted to hit the other bully, but before the punch could land, the bully created an earth wall which Tahir's punch shattered. Jumping back, Tahir held his broken fist while looking weirdly at the bully.
Just then, the system notification popped up.

The notification gave Tahir a new burst of adrenaline as he charged again. This time, he went for a kick to the bully's neck. The bully raised his arm to repel it. The kick was so fast and powerful that the bully struggled to hold it back. Tahir could feel something was wrong when an earth slab burst through the ground. Tahir avoided it by jumping back. The bully was surprised at how strong a level 2 could be.
"You ain't really a level 2, are you?" the bully asked.
"What's wrong? Don't tell me you're scared already?" Tahir taunted.
"Answer the damn question!" the bully screamed out, a hint of fear in his voice.
"I'm a level 2. You're just too weak," Tahir said with a smirk.
"I underestimated you, a mistake I won't make again," the bully said while stealing a glance at his passed-out friend lying on the ground.
"You don't learn to admit defeat, do you? Either way, suit yourself," Tahir said while charging in again.
Tahir aimed for the bully's head, and as he threw his punch, he was shocked to see the bully blocking with his hands. The bully's other fist slammed into Tahir's stomach. The punch was so strong that Tahir spat out some blood.

What the hell? A punch strong enough to take two HP? Tahir said to himself in anger.
"You really think I only use earth ability? I also have strength ability," the bully said with a smirk.
"It changes nothing," Tahir muttered before charging in again.
"Kid, I need you to finish this fast before people start rushing in," Shawn said.
Not paying attention to the voice, Tahir moved with speed, coating his punch with a little bit of Qi. The bully tried to hold the punch again, but the force of the blow flung his hands backward. Tahir's other hand landed a clean uppercut to the bully's jaw, sending him staggering backward.
"I must admit, you're really strong to be able to take that punch and still stand," Tahir said.
"Shit, this guy is a monster. I need to give up before I end up like him," the bully thought to himself.
Staring at his friend and then back at Tahir, the bully fell to his knees, admitting defeat.
Tahir let out a sigh of relief.
"But I have a favor to ask from you," the bully said, looking away.
"What's that?" Tahir asked.
"Please don't tell anyone about our fight," the bully said, looking away embarrassed.
"It's fine by me, as long as you stop bothering me and my friends," Tahir said seriously.
"That was quick. I thought he would demand some type of money or favor," the bully thought to himself.
"It's a deal," the bully said, carrying his passed-out friend to the clinic.
Just then, the system notification popped up.

"So let me get this straight. Defeating the bullies doesn't necessarily mean I beat them until they pass out?" Tahir said with a smirk.
Tahir smiled as he left the restroom and headed to his dorm room.
Kris and the rest were coming back from the store when they saw the bully from earlier carrying his friend on his shoulder. Seeing Kris and the others, he quickened his pace.
"What's wrong with him?" Zahra asked.
"He's probably scared of you girls. That's why he hurriedly left," Kris said.
"Or the teacher probably warned them," Esha chimed in.
"Yeah, that's also possible," Kris said, crunching his chips.
Reaching the dorm room, Tahir went to lie down and shut his eyes. He appeared right in his void. Looking around, he saw Shawn doing push-ups while Bruce helped him keep count.
Without saying a word, Tahir sat down, concentrating his Qi. He let it out little by little. The concentration was hard, but he was happy he was making progress.
"Somehow, this new me seems to have a lot of space to improve, more space to get stronger, better. Whoever made and gave me this system, thank you a lot," Tahir said out loud.
"Don't you think you're getting a little bit addicted to the system?" Bruce asked.
"Not to the system, but to power," Shawn said while standing up.
"I'm not addicted to anything. I'm sure I'm pretty strong now, and I need to get stronger. I owe someone a promise, a promise to become the strongest human ever," Tahir said.
"Her, right? Do you think she will advise you to get addicted? Think well," Shawn said.
This started to make Tahir worry, so he decided to take a walk outside.
Just as he was about to leave, he met Esha and the rest outside.
"You guys are back? I went to the clinic earlier," Tahir said.
"Are you going out?" Zahra asked.
"Yeah, I need to get some fresh air outside," Tahir answered.
"Oh okay, when you come back, I've got something to tell you, bro," Kris said while hopping on his bed.
Going through multiple checkpoints, Tahir was let outside and given a pass for confirmation inside.
Looking around, he was alone.
"Let's see how strong my stats are," Tahir said with a smirk.
