**Chapter 5: Sora's Perspective**
Damn those old farts.
But noticing the book in his hands, he smiled and began to read. However, not having walked ten meters, he bumped into someone. Turning around, he noticed another elder. Looking into his eyes, he saw that they were red, and his face twisted in a grimace of disgust, which quickly returned to its usual indifferent expression.
"Maybe it was just my imagination," Sora thought.
Bending down to apologize and at the same time pick up the book, he saw that the elder was walking away.
"Excuse me," Sora said quietly, but frowning hard, he picked up the book and walked on. After a few seconds, Yuki and Haru caught up with him. Seeing his face, they approached to talk, but immediately noticed the fire of hatred in his eyes.
"How dare he behave like that towards the son of the head and heir to his post!" Sora said with hatred.
His friends understood what was going on, and Haru said,
"Well, you're not the only heir, if that helps," Haru said with a smile, trying to lighten the mood. Surprisingly, he succeeded. Noticing that the fire in Sora's eyes was fading, he relaxed and noticed that Yuki was smiling.
"You are so hard to provoke," Yuki said sarcastically. "Look at me: I skillfully control my emotions."
"Clearly the future leader, oh great Yuki Masuraboshi Kuu Mono," Haru supported his friend's joke.
Meanwhile, veins were already standing out on Sora's forehead, but then a look of distrust reflected on Yuki's face from the pain he felt. Grabbing his heart, he coughed up a few clots of blood. His friends watched in disbelief as if in frozen footage, seeing their friend fall to the ground. Haru, who was closer to him, quickly reacted and rushed to help his friend up.
They were walking through the park in the evening to send their friends on a mission. Therefore, there were no people nearby. Turning Yuki onto his back, Haru noticed that he had lost consciousness, his eyes rolled back.
But then Haru felt a pain in his chest on the left side and didn't notice how he spat blood right onto his friend's chest, almost losing consciousness. But enduring the pain, he saw that Sora was also holding his chest. However, he didn't panic and ran to the road for help.
**Sora's Perspective**
"Why? Why did this happen? I can already see help coming, but I won't be able to hold on much longer," tears welled in his eyes, and he shook his head, signaling that he couldn't hold on. A white light enveloped him.
**Reader's Perspective**
Haru instinctively felt that the three of them were bound by some chains—not by fate or brotherly bonds, but by something deeper.
With tears in his eyes, he tried to remain conscious. But darkness began to engulf him.
**Death God's Perspective**
In an unknown place, various voices were asking what had happened, and the God of Death had to begin explaining.
"They stand on three pillars, and if one falls, the others will pull him back because they are connected by chains of reincarnation. But since their souls are the souls of children, covered in remnants of past lives, they are falling into darkness one by one," he tried to explain what happened. "Clearly, they will return in an hour or two; otherwise, it would be boring," he said, as if shrugging his shoulders.
**Takeshi's Perspective**
I was getting dressed to send Miyuki, Ayako, and Anko on their mission when I was suddenly called.
Stepping out, I saw a master who came in panting, saying,
"Head... Ah... Ah... The heirs... They ended up in the hospital." Seeing the blood on his shoulder, I thought there had been a fight. But learning the real reason for his interruption of my important affairs, I opened my eyes wide for a second, then frowned and disappeared.
A minute later, I was already at the hospital. Entering the building, I quickly walked down the corridor and entered the third room on the right. There, I saw the following scene:
Three of my wives were standing with shame, as none of them were medical ninjas. The doctor, standing by Yuki's bed, finished writing and turned to me, bowing and greeting me:
"Welcome, oh great head of the Masuraboshi Kuu Mono clan."
Hearing such a lengthy greeting, I was almost outraged, but I thought that my subordinates would not be formal if the situation did not demand it. So I bowed back and said,
"Welcome, great elder of the Masuraboshi Kuu Mono clan, Mikato Masuraboshi."
Straightening up, Mikato, the head of the medical department of the clan, began to read the patients' conditions, clearly understanding why I had come:
"Sora Masuraboshi," adjusting his glasses, he continued, "the reason is a sudden loss of consciousness, possibly caused by severe chest pain. The organs are fine, but the exact cause of the pain has not been determined. It is recommended to rest for two days and maintain a bed rest."
The situation with Haru Masuraboshi and Yuki Masuraboshi is similar, but there are differences. Haru felt the pain more than Sora, as indicated by the tears in his eyes before losing consciousness. And Yuki's condition is strange. He lost consciousness first, as evidenced by eyewitness accounts. He lost a small amount of blood, which is a worrying symptom for a child. If this illness progresses, his shinobi career will become impossible," he said, pausing to observe the parents' reactions.
Everyone was in shock. Their sons were in danger of not becoming shinobi, which meant they would become a weak link in the clan.
"Is there any way to overcome this illness?" I asked.
The doctor pondered:
"If this is a chakra disease, then if their chakra becomes greater and stronger than the chakra that nourishes the illness, it will simply disappear. There are a few ways, but all of them carry risks for their lives.
1. Seal a tailed beast in them, which would fulfill two conditions for overcoming the disease. But this is dangerous since beasts are usually sealed in newborns.
2. The hermit mode will also help, but for this, one needs talent, large chakra reserves, and a contractor who can teach them. This option is almost impossible.
3. Seals, but creating them may take years."
These words put Takeshi in a difficult position.
**Location near the gates**
Near the gates leading into the great dangerous world stood Takeshi, Miyuki, Ayako, and Anko. Next to the gates sat lazy guards Inazuma and Kinetu.
"Regardless of Sora, Haru, and Yuki's condition, I cannot allow you to stay," Takeshi tried to explain to the wives. "You have an S-rank mission, and I cannot assign it to anyone else because you are the only ones free among the Grand Masters."
Rubbing his brow, Takeshi continued to explain.
"I care more about the mission than..." Ayako wanted to say indignantly. But Takeshi interrupted her, saying,
"No, but a mission was assigned to you, and do you not trust me? And you heard yourselves that they have stable life indicators, and nothing threatens their lives."
Quickly approaching and kissing each of them on the forehead, he said:
"This will motivate you to return quickly."
They talked a little more and then left.
Takeshi began to gather the council of elders.
**Elder's Meeting Hall**
In the large hall, there was a rectangular table with twelve chairs on the sides and a thirteenth at the head of the table, where the most prominent person sat. Takeshi was sitting among them. One by one, people entered the hall.
When all the chairs were occupied, Takeshi stood up, and everyone else followed his lead.
"At this month's meeting, I, the Head of the Masuraboshi Kuu Mono clan, declare the meeting open." Sitting down, he began to read the names from the list of people in a boring voice.
"Hirata Masuraboshi."
Standing up, Hirata said, "Present at this month's meeting." The faces of everyone were serious because this meeting would decide many important issues that would determine the fate of the clan.
"Satsuki Masuraboshi."
"Present." "I would prefer that you not read something so boring, so I will give you a list of the elders."
