"In the year 2010, earth was terraformed by cosmic radiation.
Its magnetic field had been weakened, causing most of the radiation from space, causing an infectious energy to infect the planet .
The energy killed the weak.
Whilst the strong were able to walk unscathed from it,but that only applied to the first generation .
Surviving it meant your child would survive it, and it went on.
For beasts, though, this mysterious energy had a different change.
It modified the weak into mindless, attacking creatures and modified the strong into smarter creatures.
They became monsters forged from the old animal kingdom,with the destructive capabilities that came with it.
They were split into three sections.
The mindless ones were those that grew in size.
The normal ones had thoughts and could have innate abilities .
The smart ones were those so changed that they were less of a beast.
Humans, due to the attack of the ferocious animals, tried defending themselves, but it was hard.
People had animals as pets, and oceans posed threats of animals or creatures unseen before.
No nuke or missile would finish them up.
Bullets would kill some, but the next wave had tougher skins, and the next and the next till bullets merely scratched them.
Missiles would work till they could take it on with their skin,till they could catch missiles out of the air and throw them away.
It was an apocalypse, but like every threat, a solution was obtained.
Crystals.
The dead beast dropped crystals .
They didn't at first, then after a few waves, it was seen that these crystals were dropped.
Every government mobilized forces to obtain these dropped crystals .
They all wanted to see if this had a chance of survival.
If this was a gift to accompany the curse that God gave to humanity.
At first, there was nothing.
But the Japanese found the answer,it was a sort of energy source.
Not fuel or any of the kind ,it could be used to amplify the same type of energy.
After stressful consideration, human tests were applied .
Crystals that could not be damaged by a water jet crumbled to dust in the hands of an average human.
And it was seen that the energy stuck in that crystal amplified the one in the subject's body.
It was seen that whatever the wave of energy was,it inputed a condensed container in everyone,leaving room for the crystal to fill up.
The more full it was, the stronger one got.
With that information passed throughout the world ,the first generation of hunters was born.
At first, soldiers but the name Hunters was taken up since their job was to find ,hunt down, and kill every beast they could find.
The beasts attacked with ferocity and smartness, and so did the humans .
It was an all-out war across the planet, and this was not against themselves but against animals?
The first was humans
The second was humans
But the third was all of humanity against beasts
It was named -EVENT :KHAOS-
It is a chaotic event all across the planet.
Humans had levels in strength, so as the beasts
Some had a bigger container, causing some to be stronger than some.
And it reached the time.
The seven strongest hunters at the time fought against the seven strongest beasts.
No one knows what happened, but if they lost, would humanity still exist? So it was assumed that they won.
And the waves just stopped.
They didn't recede ,they just stopped.
Beasts made their home in where they stopped .
Then humans made walls around each country, then continent.
Each of them could communicate with each other ,transport to an entirely different continent was risky and longer as oceans were dodged due to it's dangers .
Humans were known for being humans with such power they would exploit anything.
So, a collective organization was made to govern all these freaks of nature that would be less bound to laws.

The leader an S-Rank .
And that's how hunters came to be.
"Survival as a hunter is crucial to survival.
You are soldiers of the planet as well as its heroes .
There are two types of hunters ,Docile and rogue.
According to the names, they represent their meanings .
Docile are part of the country's main military force,they listen to orders and mainly protect the city or country they stay in.
Rogue hunters don't listen to higher ups ,they do as they please and can make and join groups called Guilds.
But they have two rules
●They must kill a 1 beast per week, or they shall be suspended
●They are obligated to fight for the city they stay in during an attack
Of course, this doesn't apply to S-Ranks and above. "
After the man finished, it was still as quiet as when he started .
Then he said
"My name is Ayo Nifemi ,I am the overseer of this training ground.
Like I said in the announcement, I want the best from you ,and I hope an S rank would come from within you lot..
And even if that doesn't happen, I want you all to be strong enough to protect the ones you love.
No matter what, no one is to kill another student within this premises, do so, and you shall be expelled with a missing limb."
Chills went down everyone's back except a select few.
Neto one of them stared thinking.'Can I beat him if we fought?'
"Do your best and get stronger for yours and humanity's sake.
That's today's class, leave. "
And with that, the class ended.
The next class was a few minutes away.
It was in some sort of gym.
The teacher was a male as well.
There were twenty students in there.
"Gather round "
Everyone gathered, making a circle around the man.
He was mildly taller than the average height at about 6.2.
He was middle-aged.
He looked around and spoke
"This is ur martial arts training class,to learn the basics of hand to hand combat.
Your class's job is for one of you to land one clean hit on me.
No use of abilities is allowed ,ur base physical strength is what I want.
Now then, Begin!"
He said with one hand behind his back.
"One clean hit?."
"That's easy."
"Does he think we are kids?"
More than half the class ran to attack.
The first one got smacked in the face with a foot.
The second ,a knee to his face
The third got kicked in her stomach.
He moved so fast that they couldn't even see him.
He limited his attacks so as not to injure them too much.
Neto and four other students stayed back and watched him move.
When most of the students were cleared, he moved.
"Shit, we can't even touch him."
"My stomach hurts. Who kicks women?"
The instructor who was kicking students all around with his hands in his pockets suddenly saw a hand so close to his face that it could actually touch him.
Kicking neto in the gut to propel himself backwards a bit, he saw the student who attempted that.
'The number 5.
Yeah, this is gonna be a pain with him here.'
After skidding on the floor, he stood up and then checked the soles of his shoes .
'They are still good ,these wears are surprisingly strong.'
He then looked at the instructor and said.
"Almost touched you..."With his head tilted to the side.
"You'll need ur entire class and more than that to hit me."The instructor said with a smile.
"You almost touched him. You are pretty strong number 5.
We'll help you hit him."A guy with a bow cut said .
"Help him? I'm hitting him myself."Another said while pulling up his sleeve.
"This is so unnecessary."A pink headed girl mouthed.
"This is fun."A black haired girl said with a smile.
Neto looked at them and didn't say anything.
He merely looked at the instructor and said.
"Let's go."
He ran to the side and swung a fist in an upward motion at the man, which he swerved to the right to dodge .
Only for the sleved man to come kicking at his head .
Although the movement was solid ,the instructor was flexible and bent backwards to dodge the kick.
But suddenly, a fist came attacking at his face from behind him.
It was a caught position.
But even as he was bent backwards, he held the shoulders of the girl and used them to pull himself up like a cycle dodging the fist easily.
In less than 10 seconds, three attacks had been made and dodged.
Hopping back, the instructor stopped.
"Good team work.
But your attacks don't compliment each other ,you just attack as the other missed.
Attack at the same time but maintain synergy to fluidly attack and not and not obstruct yourselves."
"Come on ,i didn't get a chance that time."
"I'll hit him next time."
"You keep saying that."
