~Jenna's POV~
"You came," I blurted, my panic morphing into a strange mix of relief and exasperation.
"Your father asked me to," he replied. His gaze flicked to the car. "Flat tyre or...?"
I nodded, suddenly feeling foolish. "Yeah, and she just won't start. Also, I don't have a spare. Betty's old, you know."
He let out a low sigh, pulling out his phone. "I'll call for help."
As he dialled, I found myself studying him. Snow had always been distant, more focused on responsibilities than personal connections. But seeing him here, taking charge, stirred something familiar within me.
He ended the call and looked at me. "A tow truck will be here shortly. In the meantime, stay close."
I blinked, surprised by the subtle note of concern in his voice. "Thanks, Snow. I really appreciate it."
