The next day at the Lotus Flower Model Company, Martins was sitting in a chair with his leg crossed. He felt exhausted as he continued registering prospective models, disqualifying many because none were truly qualified to join the company. He kept asking them questions, but none were able to give him a definite answer.
"Sorry, you're not qualified for this position," Martins said with a pale face.
"Boss, since we have almost fifty participants, why don't we manage them? At least they can help with their little skills," Liam suggested.
"Just walking like a perfect model is hard for them, even those I chose not because they're perfect, but because they try. Oh right, where are those girls you mentioned to me?"
...Meanwhile.....
"Miss Ashley, it's been almost two hours, and we've been looking for a dress! What type of dress are you searching for?" Jenny asked, giving Ashley a deadly gaze. Getting no reply, she lowered her head and found a seat.
"Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ashley screamed, causing Jenny to fall off the chair she was resting on.
"Oops... Sorry!" Ashley said with a smile as she rushed off to pay the money. "Let's go."
"Boss, maybe they're busy or stuck in traffic," Liam said, recalling Jenny's face.
Kok...kok...kok...kok... A melodic sound of heels hitting the ground was heard loud and clear, drawing everyone's attention. All eyes landed on the two girls walking in with a rosy style. One had a beautiful smile and graceful movements, wearing a red and black dress that showcased her charm.
Beside Ashley, Jenny looked stunning. She had put on makeup to hide the dark circles under her eyes, appearing so youthful that it was difficult to recognize her compared to Ashley, who was bare-faced. They both looked gorgeous.
"Oh... my... dream girls!" Martins exclaimed loudly as he watched the girls move. Their poise and attitude were captivating, especially the way one of them executed a "smize" walk that caught everyone's attention.
"Hello, Mr... erm..." Ashley said, unsure of his name, glancing at Liam, who stood there with his mouth open.
"Wha... wha... erm... his name is Mr. Martins."
"Oh, sorry about that, Mr. Martins. We're here to apply for the training position," Ashley said with a smile.
Martins was left speechless. Aside from their beauty, they also possessed impressive skills. "Holy moly," he thought to himself.
With only four members remaining in the registration room, the atmosphere was tense as everyone kept stealing glances at one another.
"So that's how you managed to recruit enough people to join our company?" Martins asked.
"Yeah," Jenny replied.
"I've informed the owner of this company, and he'd like to meet you. Would you like to go?" Martins said, awaiting their response.
"What are we going to do there? Is your boss so arrogant that he only stays at home and works while bothering so many people?" Ashley asked, frowning slightly.
"No, no. Actually..." Martins started, glancing at Liam for a moment before continuing.
"The real boss of this company isn't me. I'm just the acting CEO. When the truth about my role was discovered, many people offered to buy this company. However, since you all walked in, I noticed your strong aura and decided to offer you this position."
Ashley and Jenny were dumbfounded and said nothing, with Ashley only nodding her head in agreement.
"We shall see you tomorrow at 9:00 am. Don't be late," Liam said as he handed Jenny an invitation card.
"Lotus Flower Lord," Jenny said, reading the elegant writing on the paper aloud. "Wait, we don't have a permanent home. We were lost, and that's how we ended up meeting Liam," she added, her face turning pale.
"Didn't you like the place we slept last night? You said you enjoyed your sleep," Ashley whispered to Jenny, trying to keep her voice low so others wouldn't hear.
Jenny's eyes filled with tears as she recalled her uncomfortable position in the tree, with mosquitoes buzzing near her ear.
"Please, can you help us find a place to sleep?" Jenny said, ignoring Ashley's comment and remembering the unfortunate events from the previous night.
Normally, where Ashley came from, they had the ability to fly and often perched on trees for a better view. But with no other options for Jenny and Ashley to rest, Ashley suggested sleeping in the tree to save money instead of booking a room.
Martins sighed and looked at Liam, who gestured for the two beauties to follow him. "This way, please," Liam said
*Flower Hotel*
"Is this part of your business?" Jenny asked Liam, whose face flushed red.
"Y-yeah..." Liam stammered, his heart racing. When he met Jenny's gaze, his face turned completely crimson, and he rushed out.
"Hey, wait! Let's eat something first!" Jenny called, finding herself a seat. Liam halted in his tracks, glancing back at Jenny, whose face was now lit up with a smile.
"I hope you have a great day with your rival," Ashley said, casting an amused glance at the two lovebirds. The thought of her first life momentarily escaped her mind as she found a seat for herself.
Liam also sat down, pulling out his phone to type something before tucking it back into his pocket again. "What do you want to eat? Order anything you want .
Jenny smile, feeling happy. She recalled how Ashley hadn't eaten anything good since she first tried human food; she had grown accustomed to using her magic to make her own meals. So, Jenny decided to introduce her to some delicious pasta.
"Waiter!" Jenny called, and a young lady approached their table.
"Good day, Mr. Liam. Good day, ma'am. Welcome to our special hotel! I hope you have a great and memorable day. What would you like to order?"
"Thank you! We would like two plates of pasta, please," Jenny replied with a pleasant smile. "And also, could we have it to go? Thanks!"
"Which one is pasta again?" Ashley thought to herself, chuckling softly.
