"Down, Your Grace!" the Greek god shouted at Elio as he himself went down.
The guy might have forgotten that he had already pushed Elio in the water, where he stumbled and fell flat in the shallow swimming pool.
Elio just stayed that way as the vases flew above him.
There were no vases remaining near the monster, so it ran back toward its cell where other vases were.
'I have to do something before it reaches them.'
'Think! Think! Why's my mind blank? Why can't I... Yes! Yes! System, give me a gun!'
[That will cost you 10000 PPP. Sorry! Not enough balance.]
'Fuck!'
His mind went haywire when he saw the monster reaching for a vase.
'Why's this thing so fast? Why can't... Yes! Yes! System, give me a taser. A taser gun.'
[That will cost you 1000 PPP. Should I make a purchase?]
'Hurry up, dammit!'
[Dear host, 1000 PPP subtracted. A taser gun, unlocked.]
[Remaining balance... ]
Elio didn't give a shit about these other notifications. He just stared at his right hand where shimmering mists had appeared. They covered its entirety, then, as they disappeared, a taser gun appeared.
Elio didn't waste any time. He rose to his feet and pointed it at the monster.
Just then, a vase came for him. He dodged and aimed again.
'If I miss, it will be the end of us. I cannot miss! I can't!'
"Your Grace, what are you doing? Get down!" shouted the Greek god in concern, standing in front of the swimming pool to serve as a barrier between the monster and Elio.
"No! You get Down. Down!" He didn't want the taser to hit his protector.
The guy had turned to look at Elio, leaving his back to the monster, so he probably assumed it had thrown another vase and went down.
That's exactly when Elio pulled the trigger.
"Yesss! Yesss! It worked! It worked!"
The general looked confused, not knowing why Elio was celebrating and what was the thing he had in his hands.
He turned around to look at the monster, and he could not believe it when he saw it on the ground, shaking.
"How did you do it, Your Grace?"
"I just asked Niemoth for support!"
Even Elio was surprised at how fast he was able to come up with a lie. The people on this island believed in many gods, but Niemoth was the most loved and worshiped because it was known as the Protector. All Powerful.
The general looked at him in awe, like he had seen an angel.
"It won't last long. Kill it before Niemoth's thunder dwindles."
This knocked the general out of his stupor, jumping to his feet and chopping off the creature's head.
Elio let out a sigh of relief, but a female scream caught his attention.
Queen Liza.
She had been standing behind the bar gate into the corridor, watching everything with joy.
Even a fool could understand why she was shocked when they defeated the monster. She knew what it meant for her.
She tried to run, but Elio was quick to react. "Stop right away or I'll unleash Niemoth's thunder upon you!"
She froze.
She had seen what Elio was able to do with Niemoth's item.
"Don't strike me please!"
Unbeknownst to her, Elio would need to load another cartridge into the taser to be able to strike her.
'Haha! What a cool thing to be the only person with the knowledge!'
"Turn around and open the gate."
She did as commanded.
"Kneel!"
She obeyed.
"Head on the ground. Don't you dare raise it or I'll strike you."
"I won't, You Grace! I won't!"
With the bitch subdued, Elio turned to look at the monster. Surprisingly, there were 2 heads.
"What's going on?"
"It developed another head, Your Grace. I cut it off. You can see that another is growing already. These things never die, Your Grace!"
'Shit!'
'System! Give me more cartridges!'
[One will cost you 50 PPP. Should I make a purchase?]
'Hurry! Four. Give me 4 of them.'
[Dear host, 200 PPP, subtracted. 4 cartridges, unlocked.]
[Remaining balance: 000]
"So, how were you able to capture it?" Elio asked as he unwrapped the cartridge to reload the taser.
The general cut off another head and said, "It had entered a villager's house at night. He locked it inside after he escaped.
"At the time, we didn't know they were unkillable. So, in the morning, we reached the house and surrounded it, then opened it so we could kill it. But it didn't come out. That's when we realized they're afraid of the direct sunlight. We tore the house down and chopped it while it lay in the sunlight, vulnerable.
"To our surprise, it regenerated its limbs in just a few seconds. That's when King Kard ordered us to bring it here. He thought he could be kind to it, train it and use it as a weapon against its kind. Unfortunately, there was no way to be kind to it if he couldn't even figure out what to feed it."
Now Elio felt bad for King Kard. He had assumed the dude just refused to attack these monsters again because he was a coward who didn't want to lose more men like in the first battle, when in reality, the abominations were immortal.
"Lock it again. Let's take the princess out of here first. We will figure out how to kill it later."
By the rules of this world, these monsters were invincible. But Elio could buy weapons from Earth. He had an ultimate cheat against them.
'I'll see if it wakes up again if I blow it with an RPG.'
The problem was, how much PPP will it cost? How many queens will he need to claim to earn that much?
'One thing at a time!'
The general chopped off another head and laid his sword down to pull the monster back into its cell.
After locking it inside, he went for Princess Mareen and put her on his shoulder.
Elio ordered Queen Liza to go into Mareen's cell, then walked out of there behind the general.
"You can't leave me here," cried Queen Liza. "Please! I'll do whatever you want."
"My knight is now dead because of you. I would keep quiet if I were you. I wouldn't want to anger a man who has my life in his hands, would I?"
"Please! I acted out of fear and stupidity. I can be your slave. I won't try anything stupid again."
Her pleas were so many, but none could sway Elio's mind. The bitch didn't even deserve death. He would decide the punishment later, but she had to suffer for the time being.
That's why he ignored her and continued walking away until he couldn't hear her voice anymore.
As soon as Elio reached King Kard's room, he found both the generals and the knights arguing.
"What's wrong?"
"Your Grace, some families had started noticing that their fathers, husbands, brothers and sons did not return. They're demanding an explanation. What should we do?"
Elio knew that this would come soon or later. After all, he had left most of King Kard's men in his kingdom.
'It's time I reveal myself!'
"I'll go talk to them."
