Niru wanted to help Christy hence she had a discussion about this matter with her dad. But her dad stated that without proper proof we can't step into someone's family. Also told that if her parents are not having a healthy bond they themselves know how to solve it. You should be focussing on studies not on anyone's personal matter.

Aunt gave us an idea about Christy and went off… After school we met Christy at the church gate and told her an idea. We wrote down aunt Rebecca's number in a paper and folded. Niru gave it to Christy saying whenever there is a fight just call this number and place the phone down.

Days passed like 3,4 and a week. Niru asked if we can call aunt Rebecca and check. That sounded to be a good idea.! After school the near by shop had a telephone booth. While calling aunt we came to know that as we said Christy called up and the cops were sent to that address immediately and her father was arrested for domestic violence. Christy's mom was undergoing some serious trauma hence they both have gone to some outstation for a change.
That was a big treasure unlocked moment and we felt like we did something really big by saving some life…! Days were better with Niru but my happiness short lived 🥹
