I looked up ahead at the road. It was late and my dad was driving. My mom was fast asleep in the front seat. My sister meanwhile was brushing her stupid Barbie dolls hair. She was already eleven, and she still played with those dolls ever since our grandma gave her, her first doll. In my opinion those dolls are creepy.. I remember having to share a room with her in Pittsburgh. She had all her dolls facing my way on the shelves. It gave me chills every time I went to bed. I guess I was creeped out by them, so I looked out the window. Mom said we needed to go to Connecticut to live closer to family and because dad found a better job there. I didn't want to go nor did Mallorie. As I looked out the window, it was dark. I was dreading going and now I knew it was the right feeling. I signed as I looked over at my dad, I decided to ask when we were gonna be there, and then I decided not to. It would've been better not to ask. I'd rather not think about how short the distance is.

I looked over at my sister again, she saw me staring and screamed at me, So I did it back. "I know you don't want to go Connecticut and neither do i, but we don't have choice." Mallorie didn't respond she just looked Away from me so I rolled my eyes. If she wanted to be a brat so be it. I just wanted to help but she's too stubborn to listen to me.. I thought. It was super annoying. I decided to brush it off eventually. I was still irritated though.
