"How come no one helped me when I was struggling with bullies in school?" Cherry asked.
"Because you discovered your own strength and learned to use it to your advantage."
Cherry furrowed her brow in confusion. "How do you know so much? You seem too young to have any clue about my past!"
"Then why did you think I was involved in anything from back then if you believe I was too young?"
Cherry gripped the arms of her chair.
"Well, let me rephrase that: I wasn't talking directly about you. I was saying, 'How come I wasn't helped?' and not 'Why didn't you help me?'"
"Oh…" The fairy smiled, clearly amused. "I see what you did there."
She adjusted her little round tiara.
"This fairy you see before you is a whopping one hundred seventy years old."
Cherry's eyes widened in disbelief.
