**Sora**
*Reincarnation Building: Novice Village (Level 1)*
*Source of Corruption: Vampire Baron, Ghost Mage*
Players: 500
EXP Points: 6,865
Sora watched the reward points rise and nodded in satisfaction.
In just two days, the group of players had amassed considerable rewards.
The white-haired lolita, with flushed cheeks and wet hair after leaving the hot springs, tried to throw herself into Sora's arms, but he grabbed her by the collar and pushed her away.
"Master, what's happening?" Shiro asked as she observed the players hunting corrupted monsters on the screen. "Many players haven't left the game for two days and keep hunting these creatures."
Despite the considerable penalties for dying in the game, most living beings would normally avoid fighting corruption monsters unless necessary. Yet, these players, after overcoming their initial confusion, seemed like ravenous wolves, hunting endlessly. Some had even been forced to log out due to a lack of nutritional supplements in the real world. It was insane!
Sora glanced at the lolita, slightly irritated, and explained:
"Imagine you were forced to work as a slave, whipped constantly, while all the rewards were taken by your masters. You'd eat scraps and still need to stay active. That's not easy motivation."
"But if, for every corrupted monster you hunted, you saw the reward points go directly into your pocket and could exchange them for anything in the shop, how would you feel?"
The traditional system of training is like the era of slavery, where people were forced to work against their will. History has already proven that this method is flawed, and slaves inevitably resist oppression.
The white-haired lolita seemed to understand a bit more and reflected on why the reincarnated players betrayed the World Consciousness.
"But the hunting speed is still too slow. Shouldn't we provide stronger weapons?" she suggested.
"Of course. But if the equipment is too easy to obtain, it will reduce the players' enthusiasm for continuing to hunt," Sora replied, rubbing her wet hair. "A simple game that gives a dragon-slaying sword right at the start may attract players, but they'll quickly lose interest."
Sora had structured a more dynamic system where rewards would be gained gradually. He divided equipment, weapons, and skills by level and quality: White, Green, Blue, Purple, Silver, Gold, Dark Gold...
To redeem items from the shop, in addition to reward points, players would need to meet certain requirements, much like in traditional online games. Only after reaching the necessary level could they use the corresponding items or learn new skills. This way, players' enthusiasm for hunting pollution monsters would be maintained.
"It's an amazing system, but also a bit cruel…" murmured the white-haired lolita.
On the screen, players fought against ghosts in the Dead Souls Mountains, moving between the ruins of an ancient city.
"Lord Asuma, what do you think of this?" a young man with a delicate face and noble attire asked the leader of the Konoha team.
Asuma shook his head. "Without Hokage-sama's orders, I can't agree to your request."
The aristocratic young man looked visibly irritated but maintained his elegant posture and walked away with his group of samurai players.
As Asuma watched them leave, he led his team to continue hunting ghosts.
Soon, an alert appeared in Neji Hyuga's system:
*[Congratulations, you have reached level 5. Do you want to start the profession quest?]*
Neji pondered the opportunity to unlock his profession skill tree if he completed the necessary quests.
"A class mission?" he murmured.
Eager to free himself from his destiny as the "caged bird," Neji had devoted himself wholeheartedly to hunting ghosts, reducing his sleep hours to gain an advantage. He reported the mission to Asuma, who thought for a moment before replying:
"Professional skills should be similar to ninjutsu."
*[Collect 20 Ghost Essences, 1 Ghost Guard Essence, spend 1,000 reward points, and you will be able to select your profession.]*
Asuma frowned. "The Ghost Guard is powerful. If we're not careful, it could destroy us."
Neji knew the conditions were harsh, but his desire to achieve freedom outweighed the temptation of immediate rewards.
"Leave the Ghost Guard Essence to Captain Asuma," Neji said. "I'll need it later."
With the essence in hand, Naruto was the next to reach level five and completed the profession transfer quest.
*[Congratulations, you have become a Warrior!]*
Naruto's skill bar updated, allowing him to use the *Whirlwind Lv.1* skill, which spun his large sword with devastating force, destroying a nearby stone wall.
After witnessing the power of his new skill, Asuma remarked, "That power is comparable to a B-rank ninjutsu."
The other team members weren't as impressed, but Asuma knew that the true strength lay in the rapid growth potential within the reincarnation game. Even an experienced chuunin could be surpassed in a matter of days as the players continued to evolve.
