Back in the inn, they had booked three rooms. Voldrak shared one with Flonda, Loibart was with Adrani, while the two sisters were to share the last one.
"Do you really trust them?" Flonda asked the second she entered the room after Voldrak, making sure to firmly close the door behind her.
Flonda was confident that different beasts had different traits, and there was nothing about cats that she remotely felt was trustworthy.
'They're not as strong as me, and I can easily take them down, so I understand why Voldrak doesn't see them as a threat,' she thought to herself, even as she watched Voldrak walk forward to stand by the only window in the room, overlooking the scene of the new city they had just entered.
"They'll guide us for as long as we're here," Voldrak responded, aware that Flonda wanted more answers, which he didn't feel like giving as he continued to stare out the window, looking at the nation he had to conquer as fast as possible.
