He screamed, his voice raw with anguish and rage. The fact that he could still speak infuriated Black even more. Desperation twisted his features as he poured out every ounce of his power, convinced he could recover it later, only stopping when Juravo's body was completely obliterated. All that remained was a huge, shimmering rectangular fragment on the ground.
Relief washed over Black, followed by a sudden wave of weakness. The fight was over, but the cost infuriated him. The energy it had taken to win was more than he had anticipated. He was so consumed with his exhaustion that he didn't notice the white substance flying toward him until it was too late.
