Chapter 121 - Precision

Voldrak used the opening to strike. He surged forward, his rod sweeping in a wide arc aimed at the Warden's legs. She leaped, her fiery aura flaring as she brought her whip down toward him.

Voldrak countered, his rod colliding with the whip in a shower of sparks. The impact sent vibrations up his arm, but he held firm, his dark eyes meeting the Warden's molten gaze.

"You'll have to do better than that," he said, his voice a low growl.

The Warden smirked. "Gladly."

Flonda moved like a shadow, her spear spinning in her hands as she circled the Warden. With a sharp cry, she lunged, her weapon aiming for the Warden's exposed side.

The Warden twisted at the last moment, her whip snapping toward Flonda. But Flonda anticipated the move, her spear shifting to parry the fiery weapon. The clash sent a wave of heat rippling outward, but Flonda didn't falter.
