The night before their departure, the village gathered around a large bonfire. It was meant as a send-off for the scouts, but also as a moment for the community to unite.

He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Apollo standing there. His expression was as calm as ever, though there was a glint of something unspoken in his eyes.

"You're carrying it all again," Apollo said, his voice low enough not to carry.

Bob shook his head. "Not just me. We all are. It's different this time, though. We're not just defending anymore—we're building."

Apollo nodded. "And it's a heavier weight. But don't forget, you're not alone. Lean on us when you need to."

Bob offered him a faint smile. "I know. Thanks."
