"It's fast…" Leslie searched the darkness with her gaze but she could not locate him. Before she could react, a gust of wind slammed into her and she was knocked into the wall. Flames fired in her direction, and her heart skipped a beat as she rolled over to dodge.

The flames burned the walls and Leslie who'd rolled over to escape, raised her head to glare at the crazed Apollo who flames swept across the area, unable to touch the moving Shadow. After he'd spent minutes unable to harm the enemy, his gaze hardened.
The flames danced, surging like a wave, but Shadow who was as fast as the darkness escaping from a sudden burst of light weaved through the flames. Leslie lowered her gaze, and gashes filled her body — deep wounds inflicted every time Shadow attacked her.
