'It's you, isn't it?' She asked in her head. Taking a deep, shallow breath, she tried to slip off his embrace without waking him.
"Awake already?" She heard his voice and paused immediately. How long has he been awake?
"Mm…hmm," she nodded and sat up when his hold around her loosened. "Good morning," she said.
Alex watches her and remembers her reaction the first time she woke up in his arms and today there was a stark difference and he couldn't help the wide smile that made its way out. This was what they called PROGRESS.
