Sara opened her eyes. Although she had slept the whole night, she was still unwilling to leave the bed for the comfort it provided. Feeling the arm dropped around her waist. Her lips curled up, knowing he was the source of the warmth she and reason she didn't want to leave the bed just yet.
Wriggling her body, she managed to turn around. He had his eyes closed, his breathing stable and calm. His breath gently fanned her face, causing her to close her eyes before opening them again.
"So peaceful," she muttered in a hushed voice. She wondered if she was like this when asleep. The calmness he showed right now was enviable. Unable to stop herself, combed his hair with her fingers, pushing back the stray strands, and then pressed a kiss on his forehead.
