Adam returned to the Crawford residence, his brooding figure imposing. Every step that he took was filled with rage. His clenched fists and hardened jaws could be seen by anyone even without them trying.
Mr. North had come to receive him as always, but he snorted at him and walked by him as if he was of no significance. Although he took no offense to the young man's offensive behavior, he was quick to find Williams.
Adam made his way to his parents' room. He didn't bother knocking and opened the door. Someone needed to share in his anger and pent up frustration.
And just as he thought, Lilly was furious.
"Have you lost all respect for your parents now, Adam?" She uttered with a deep frown on her face. It was as if she couldn't see the many emotions he was going through all at once. "I don't remember raising you this way."
