"Why is your face so pale?" Liam asked immediately upon seeing the dead look on Lucas' face.
"Nothing, I was worried because I was coming back so late." Lucas replied.
Max brought out some IV bags as he drained the blood openly. Since everybody knows about him being a vampire, there was no need hiding.
"What's that?" Jack asked with his eyes wide.
I hope I'm wrong. Jack thought.
"This?" Max asked pointing at the transparent bag he held to his mouth.
"Yeah, what is that?' Jack asked.
"Blood, what else is so red?" Max said as he shrugged his shoulders.
"You really have become a demon." Jack said as he stared at Max disgustingly.
Lucas remained quiet during the whole conversation.
Meanwhile, Atticus had a look of dread as he stared at the bodies of his colleagues, well not bodies but bones. Just then, a woman with graceful steps walked into the building.
