Leny stared at Liam who had his body soaked with black blood, she found him familiar but couldn't tell where she knew him from.
"Who is he?" She asked Sophia as she couldn't quite remember where she saw him, Sophia wouldn't waste the talisman her master gave her on just anybody.
"Someone i have been keeping an eye on." Sophia replied her eyes fixed on Liam but her answer just fueled Leny's curiously.
Sophia was normally aloof and only became respectful when she talked about her master, so to help a random person with the gift she got from her master was more unlikely, so who was this guy?
"What happened? I need details from begining to the end of everything." Sophia demanded as she scrutinized Liam from head to toe curiously.
She was just on her way to class with Leny when she heard the roar of the monster, she was shocked at first but as she was close to where the roar came, she and Leny immediately ran towards the sound.
When she was close by she saw nine humans running towards the same source of the sound, but she found out there weren't humans because of the way they ran, so she used her devine eyes to see ahead of her and that was when she saw Liam bloodied beside Evelyn.
More stunning was the monster lying motionlessly beside him with it's heart ripped out.
It was obvious that Liam caused it's death. So seeing the monsters about to get to Liam and the danger he was exposed to, she had no choice but to use the speed talisman her master gave her as a gift and means of escape.
She was pissed about using such talisman on Liam but she was more curious on how Liam killed the demon.
And more astonishing was the fact that the roar of the monster was heard by everyone. She didnt know what was going on.
Liam sat up and wiped the blood from his face, then he recalled what just happened and told Sophia everything that happened.
He didnt bother hiding anything, it was useless hiding anything, Liam needed help from her and she just helped him out just now.
After Sophia heard what happened her face changed, her heart beat quickened, Leny stared wide eyed at Liam as she stuttered "is everything you said now true?"
"Yeah?" Liam replied confusedly, he didn't know the reason behind their reaction.
"They found a way to enter our world unnoticed?" Sophia asked nobody in particular as she seemed to be muttering to herself.
"They? Who?" Liam asked curiously. He didn't like the look on their face, it must be something dangerous. And he also wanted to find more about those monsters and take revenge for his grandmom and annihilate those things.
"This..The..is..is impossible." Leny stuttered as she staggered backwards.
Now Liam was getting worried.
What was impossible?
Meanwhile in the spot that Liam just killed that monster, nine figures got there, when the middle aged man in front saw the dead body he lost his temper.
"Humans you started this first." He roared, the others behind him shivered with fear as they took few steps away from him.
The man carried the monster out of that spot and walked away.
Just immediately he left, an old man flew down from the sky and landed gently on the ground, then he looked at everywhere curiously.
When he saw the black blood on the ground his face changed visibly as if remembering a bad memory.
After staring at the ground in shock for a while he took a deep breath and said.

The blood on the ground slowly disappeared and everything returned to normal.
Then he flew away as quickly as he came.

"Since you guys choose to remain silent on what's going on, then can you at least do something about Max." Liam said with annoyance after trying to get answers for a while now but the two girls just stood in place with shock visible on their face.
"What about Max?" Sophia asked with a frown.
Liam hit his head, he skipped that part when he told his story few moments ago.
"The sun, its burning him." Liam said plainly.
Leny's face changed immediately she heard Liams words, "a vampire?" She asked icily and the area around them seemed to go down a few degrees.
Sophia facepalmed, "Leny calm down." Sophia said trying to ease her friend's rising anger.
"You are in cohorts with a vampire? Like seriously Sophia? I should calm down? You know I can't, he must die." Leny voice was as cold as ice.
"Who must die?" Evelyn who was lying on the ground sat up slowly while touching her head.
"Liam?" Evelyn said as she stared at Liam's bloodied body. Then she recalled what happened and immediately stood up.
She was immediately scared as she recalled the monster's face as it tried to swallow her.
"Where am I?" She asked staring at Liam and the others.
Liam felt headache creeping up from the series of dramas unfolding.
"You..." Before Liam could finish what he had to say Leny appeared beside Evelyn and knocked her out.
Everywhere fell silent once more.
"Leny, I....." Sophia was interupted by a slight vibration on her hand, her wrist in particular, there was a watch there.
A hologram appeared, that of an old man.
"Are you okay?" The man asked immediately he popped out.
"Yes master, how did you find out?" Sophia asked directly, she knew how rare her master contacted her and unless it was important he wouldn't contact her.
And apart from what just happened now there was no reason he'd call and ask if she was alright.
"They have infiltrated our world, be careful Sophia, Noremus seem to be done playing games." The old man didn't answer the question and just told sophia as the hologram went off.
Sophia took a deep breath.
"I will help Max out." Sophia said.
Leny's face turned to that of shock.
"Sophia!!!!" Leny shouted.
