Noah smiled at Liam broadly as the crowd dispersed, Liam didn't know when but he took some few step backwards.
This guy was a werewolf!!
On a full moon, this guy could kill everybody here with a swipe of his claws and him? He really wished he was something but he was just a nornal human with no special talent.
Except for having a strong mind that couldn't be tampered with, which he dearly wished that it could be wiped.
If this Noah of a guy recognized him then he was in big trouble, and not just any trouble, a trouble that could end his life.
Just as Liam was in deep thought, Noah came up to him.
Seeing him come up Liam body tensed up, but he didn't show it.
"Hey I'm Noah" Noah's deep and confident voice sounded out towards Liam.
"I'm Liam" Liam replied back softly, but deep inside he dearly wished that this Noah didn't recognize him.
"Do I know you? You seem familiar." Noah asked still smiling, the truth was he actually didn't know who Liam was, but he was a werewolf with acute senses. The moment Liam looked at him, he heard Liam's heart beat increase several times faster than normal.
Werewolves on full moon actually acted on impulse when they are forced to shapeshift, especially when it's their first time.
First timers couldn't even remember anything apart from the severe pain of their bones breaking and reforming to that of a human wolf, after that, what they do is what they don't remember.
Liam felt adrenaline rush to his brain when he heard the question, his heart beat increasing once more.
"Ummm...I don't think we have met before" Liam replied calmly but he wasn't calm.
"Really? It's a pity, we are on the sane team dude, I hope we can be friends." Noah said with a smile while stretching out his hand for a handshake.
Friends? Who wants to be friends with you?
Liam didn't say those words out loud though, he didn't want to die yet for getting on the bad side of a werewolf.
Liam brought out his hand and shaked him.
Noah still smiling turned around and walked away. But as he walked away, his smile slowly faded into a deep frown.
Unknown to Liam, his changing heart beat were like speakers in Noah's ears.

Eric gave them series of exercises to do, everybody was working hard, Liam just did some press ups and he was already tired.
Noah's strength on the other hand was amazing, he didn't break a sweat as he completed all the routines over and over again.
It was already getting to 12pm, and students could be seen passing by the field, girls in particular would walk slowly so they could admire the rare sight of sweaty men and well defined abs.
Some of Liam's teammate removed their shirts and only wore shorts including Noah. Girls threw glances at him and it was obvious to everyone there, Noah had nice abs.
Liam stared at them from the spectators stand as he shook his head, Liam was slim fit, he didn't work out as he felt it was stressful, even in his dorm room, he had the least defined abs among them four.
Max in particular worked out and had stunning abs like Noah, Lucas and Jack followed right behind.
"Liam!" Eric called Liam, snapping him out of his thoughts. Liam turned around and found Eric sitting on one of the spectator's seats like him a distance away, beside him was Evelyn.
"Come over here!" Eric said again.
"Yeah?" Liam walked lazily towards the both of them.
"Hey Liam" Evelyn surprisingly greeted him first, because of his inability to be punctual for training, Evelyn didn't show him any bit of friendliness. Sometimes even when he greeted her, she'd ignore him.
"Hi" Liam replied with a smile.
"I didn't see you practicing, still as lazy as always" Evelyn said as she opened her bag and took out an apple and a small dagger which she used to slice the apple.
"Don't say lazy, I'm tired instead" Liam smiled wryly as he broke out in a cold sweat. Eric was here, how could she say that now.
"He he" Evelyn laughed softly as she ate a new slice she cut, although her giggling sounded nice, Liam felt like it contained a demonic tone to it.
"I have another apple here, want one?" Evelyn asked with a sly smile at Liam.
Just then Liam felt a cold gaze looking straight at him, he turned his face slightly and met Eric's gaze.
His eyes were piercing.
"I called you over and you didn't even spare me a glance?!"
Liam was speechless as he stared at Evelyn.
This girl was pretty but sly.
Sensing Liam's gaze Evelyn giggled as she stood up.
"Bro I will be leaving see you later, make sure to discipline him, he is so lazy, bye"
Liam felt more speechless.
After Evelyn walked a bit, she suddenly stopped and turned around and said.
"Liam!" She called out, the guys on the field heard her voice, as many were already watching her every step, this girl was gorgeous but nobody shot his lines at her because of her brother.
"This is for you!" Evelyn said as she threw an apple towards him.
What?!
Liam hurriedly caught the apple.
Why will she give me .....wait?
Liam looked at the field and saw everyone's attention on him, they weren't just looking, they were staring coldly at him.
Fuck me!
Liam was immediately annoyed, this Evelyn was a demon queen, she did that on purpose, now everyone thought she liked him, or she thought favourably about him.
Her giggles still rang like demonic bells in his head.
It must be revenge for not always being early for practice.
"I called you here as I saw you weren't following the others to practice, you might be talented but so are the others, if you don't work hard then you won't have a place in my team, it's almost time for your lectures you can go." Eric said as he stood up and left.
Liam stood motionlessly for sometime before walking away.
Liam neared his room, as he got there he tried to open the door but it seemed locked from inside.
Knock! Knock!!
Liam knocked softly but there was no response.
He suddenly heard the sound of conflict inside and then shattering of tables.
Just when Liam was confused about what was happening he heard a shout from inside.
Jack's'voice in particular
"Max! Max!!! What the hell is wrong with you!!!"
"What are you doing?!"
"Max!!!!!"
Don't tell me?....Shit!!!
Liam felt his body tense up immediately.
