"I said I just happened to pass by here and heard you were in danger. Do you believe that?" Kirito looked at Juzo Biwa with a smile, asking instead of answering.
Hearing this, Juzo Biwa first shook his head, then nodded, and replied firmly, "No matter your reason for saving me, from today on, I owe you my life. If you ever need it, you can take it."
"I admire that about you, which is why I decided to come all the way to rescue you after learning that the Mizukage had set an ambush." Kirito patted Juzo's shoulder, "But don't worry, I have no interest in taking your life."
As they were talking, the Fourth Mizukage Yagura's second Tailed Beast Ball was ready to be released.
Juzo, startled, wanted to step forward to rescue again, but was stopped by Kirito. "Don't worry, the owner of the Mangekyō Sharingan is not that weak."
As soon as he finished speaking, Itachi, who thought Juzo had been killed, had his right eye filled with bloodshot. As his pupil focused, his Mangekyō Sharingan activated, and a pitch-black flame ignited on Yagura's body.
The Tailed Beast Ball was forced to stop, and Yagura was instantly burned, howling like a ghost, and exited the Tailed Beast state.
"This is..." White Zetsu exclaimed. This was the first time he saw Amaterasu. If Kirito hadn't appeared, he would have to wait many years until the battle.
Kirito explained, "Just like his left eye hosts the illusion of Tsukuyomi, this is the eye technique that resides in Itachi's right eye, Amaterasu. When activated, a black flame with great destructive power ignites at the focus of the pupil, and it will not disappear until the target is burned. It is considered the highest level of eye technique in the fire release system. That's about it."
"How did you know that?" Black Zetsu looked at Kirito in surprise. He felt more and more that he couldn't see through this young man who had no bloodline boundaries.
"Are you sure you want me to say it here?" Kirito glanced at Black Zetsu with a hint of amusement, then turned his gaze to Juzo and said, "Juzo, after what happened today, you must know that you will hardly be able to intervene in future battles of the organization."
"Ah," Juzo responded, his tone full of helplessness.
He knew very well that if he lost Akatsuki's protection, it would be difficult to escape the Hidden Mist Village's hunt in the future. But if he continued to stay in Akatsuki, he might encounter desperate situations like today at any time, which really made him feel desperate.
Kirito continued, "Then give up your position as an official member of Akatsuki and go back to the Rain Village to serve as an elite jonin. Train ninjas or become an ANBU captain. As long as you don't betray the organization, I'm sure the leader won't blame you."
At this point, Kirito looked at Itachi, who was looking at the illusion with a sad face. "As for Itachi, the leader will arrange a stronger partner for him."
"This is a good way out, but..." Juzo hesitated and asked, "Why do you want to help me?"
"Just because you were able to chop the Tailed Beast Ball with your sword for your companions, it's worth saving you," Kirito answered frankly. "Although I don't like Itachi, who killed his father and mother, if you had abandoned him, then maybe I wouldn't have saved you."
"I see." Juzo suddenly realized, closed his eyes slightly, and fell into deep thought. After a moment, he opened his eyes and replied, "I understand."
As he spoke, he took off the ring on his hand.
Kirito took the ring without even looking at it and threw it directly to Black Zetsu. Then he continued to say to Juzo, "From today on, you have nothing to do with Itachi. Do you want to take back the beheading sword?"
Juzo shook his head, "Let's just consider it as me and the village no longer owing each other anything."
"Then let's go back. There will be some fun to watch inside the organization this time." As he spoke, Kirito took the lead and rushed towards the outside of the Hidden Mist Village.
Upon hearing this, Juzo took another deep look at the beheading sword that had been broken into two pieces on the ground, and followed closely. Only Black and White were left holding the ring with a confused look on their faces.
"What a weird guy," White Zetsu complained while looking at the place where Kirito and the others disappeared.
"Don't worry about it, go and report what happened here to Tobi," Black Zetsu said.
"Then doesn't the Three-Tails Jinchuriki need to be retrieved?" White Zetsu couldn't help but ask.
"It's not the time yet. We haven't found out all the information about the Jinchūriki. If we rashly capture the tailed beasts, it will alert the five major countries. By then, capturing the tailed beasts will become increasingly difficult. This must be done simultaneously," Black Zetsu replied.
As he spoke, the huge pitcher plant merged into the tree trunk and disappeared.
In the dark cave, the illusory figures of Akatsuki members appeared one after another around the Zen lamp.
"Juzo has quit the organization." This was the first sentence Pain said after he appeared.
"Oh." Orochimaru looked at Itachi with some surprise and amusement. "His teammate is Itachi. Didn't Itachi stop him?"
Itachi was also very surprised. He glanced at Orochimaru nonchalantly and said indifferently, "I saw Juzo die with my own eyes. He could not have betrayed the organization."
"No, I'm not saying he betrayed the organization. And he's not dead. He just gave up his position as an official member of Akatsuki and will continue to work for the organization."
Having said that, Pain looked at Kirito.
Kirito nodded slightly and explained, "When Juzo was on a mission with Itachi, he encountered the Three-Tails Jinchuriki and was nearly killed. I passed by and secretly saved him. The organization's future goal is to collect the tailed beasts. Even facing the Three-Tails, which ranks low among the tailed beasts, he couldn't escape unscathed. I thought he no longer had the strength to be a formal member of Akatsuki, so I asked the leader to remove him from his position."
"In other words, Itachi escaped unscathed from the Fourth Mizukage, right?" Upon hearing this, Orochimaru licked his thick long tongue, and a hint of surprise and greed flashed across his long golden snake pupils. He looked at Itachi again with the same greed as Kirito looked at Mikoto and Tsunade.
Itachi had a look of doubt on his face. He had seen Juzo die with his own eyes, so could it be that this was the special power that Kirito had used last time in the Uchiha clan's territory?
"It seems that Orochimaru can no longer hold back. I must take this opportunity to blackmail him." Thinking this in his heart, Kirito showed a slightly playful smile. He had no intention of killing Orochimaru, and it was not worth it for him to do so for Itachi.
If Orochimaru, who mastered core technology, died, the future would be a lot less fun.
Then he threw the topic back to Pain, "So, leader, have you decided on the new team partner?"
"The Akatsuki organization currently needs new members. We will confirm after they arrive."
After saying this, Pain released the Phantom Body Technique.
