Ramiel left the tent with a slight sigh of relief and a subtle, barely visible smile on his lips. He was glad that he was able to leave so easily, and Lily did not bombard him with other questions. He was slowly running out of logical answers that were not too far from the truth. It was difficult to walk the fine line between truth and lies.
Lily even managed to bend him a few times. For example, he had a lot of trouble with the question: "Why he was helping her." His first impulse was to say something like: "Do I need a reason to help my younger sister?" or "Because you are my sister, Lily." But he quickly bit his tongue and came up with a rather circuitous answer.
To be honest, he still couldn't believe how Frosty Princess had accepted such a twisted excuse, but apparently, using his own name as a distraction from the point of the statement proved to be a hit.
