Ramiel, Nick, Caspian, Sera, Isis, and Liza hid in the dense bushes and watched from afar the goblins roosting around what resembled a small monster settlement. A bonfire burned in the center, surrounded by makeshift huts arranged in a circle.
They don't look like a marvel of engineering, a conglomeration of a few simple ladles held together by the dried fiber of some plant. Everything is covered by branches with masses of green leaves.
One of the huts stands out from the rest. It is larger, the size corresponding to a large tool shed. Instead of leaves, the green monsters have used the skins of various animals. Thin and fragile stumps replaced the beautifully carved trunks of young trees.
Ramiel wasn't sure if he could call this thing a hut yet. It reminded him more of a clumsily erected tent or a large Indian tepee.
