The brew served at An der süßen Rose was, as always, of the highest quality and deserved to be called one of the best in the world. This was quite an accolade coming from the mouth of a former hunter, considering what a pedant he was when it came to coffee. This only confirms the fact that the title was fully deserved.
Many factors contributed to this. For example, the weight of the ground beans was perfect, but most importantly, they were moistened with a subtle mist before the grinding process began. This procedure prevented the precious beans from being burned and allowed them to retain their distinctive flavor to the end.
